B Much as it pains me to say it, Cyl has never been proven to be demon spawn or even illegitimate. Even Luath acknowledged his right the first time around, which seriously undercuts the man's position now.

I'm trying to remember all the marriage arrangements this situation might throw into question. There was one older daughter promised to Ceodwell that's already called off. (And that we never heard back from on reparations, did we?) And there's an Eldrican princess lined up for Cyl, which would be a handy way to patch things up with them if we can still swing it. Any others?

Luath has very little legitimacy but is an adult. Cyl winning would mean a timeskip where RNG decides what happens, while Luath winning means a monarchy indebted to foreigners but player control picks up right away. I voted for Cyl because Luath promised to recognize Cyl's (rightful, being the previous king's son) claim to the throne during his time as regent. People also think Queen Segeda is a schemer, though I'm not entirely clear why.
