You hastily dismiss the envoys from your throne room.
1093 AD, End of the Year
The rather uneventful year has ended.
As you listen to your wife's hour-long summary of her meeting with other noble ladies of Methiant, the Advisor - thank Alldivines - appears to discuss a matter of utmost importance; this year's Scrolls of Kingdom Status update.

1094 AD, Spring
An emissary arrives at your court from Ceodwell. A surprise visit; in recent decades Ceodwells keep themselves away from politics and events of the Luathbas region.
"Greetings, King Yoe! My master, King Ceodwell X, wishes to inquire whether you would like to exchange your silver for Gubta spices? As it stands, our own silver mines cannot sate the thirst of our eastern neighbours for quality silver. In return, we obtain from them spices both medicinal and culinary, with sweetest, spiciest, sourest and juiciest of seasonings procured from them to appease both citizenry and nobles alike. Pray tell, would you be interested in such an exchange?"
You begin with a mention that, according to dwarves, the silver mines might run out of ore in as little as ten years.
"Oh. Still, the offer stands, as my master really hopes to not disappoint his amicable friends, the Gubta." Your wife then leans to you and whispers:
"My dear I'm not sure if you listened but as I said few weeks ago I learned from Lady Takela that the Gubta and the Ceodwells have lately been on strained relationship so Lady Takela thinks that the Gubta might be pressing Ceodwells with unreasonable demands but on other hand her sister Lady Stela said that her cousin heard from a reputable merchant that Gubta themselves have a silver shortages going on and that's why they seek outer sources..."
You look at the envoy, who waits for your answer.
A) "Sure then, we will start sending silver east in exchange for spices."
B) "That is a fine offer, but I don't want spices. Does your master has anything else to offer for our silver?"
C) "Apologies, but I must respectfully decline."
