With that our of the way, you ride forth from the capital, to take lead of the Army.

1218 AD, Mid-Spring

Shortly after you join the Army, a terrible fever seizes your body.

You hallucinate that your own great-grandfather, Cyl, has come to berate you for ruination of the Empire. Your mother arrives to back him up with harsh words.

Whether you losing your mind, or it's the fever wreaking such havoc with your intestines, you're not sure.

You're aware of much greater number of healers visiting you every hour of the day and night, though.

Fortunately, after three days of being bedridden, you recover somewhat, and return to our officers despite your healers' wishes that you rest some more.

That's when the scouts bring news; the Army of Caius Cuscus has met with the reinforcements stationed prior in Rucus, and managed to neatly split themselves into two. Numbering around twenty-five thousand men each, with an ample amount of supplies, auxiliary cavalry and siege equipment, the two forces are marching jointly in northeastern direction, separated from each other by about an hour of gallop.

They will soon reach your position; the one personally led by Caius Cuscus might arrive a few hours sooner than the other.

Your officers are not sure whether your current numbers are sufficient to secure victory against both Damdamian armies. The aides serving you report that there has been no word from the diplomat sent to request parley with the Damdamians.

A) We have me, the prowess of our trops, and the Banner! Damdamians are done for, no matter how many they throw at us.
B) Lets maneuver around and to the side of the armies. We need make sure to defeat them separately, or all is lost.
C) We ought to retreat towards the capital, and mayhaps we find a way to bolster our numbers too.
