C Our southern forts are damaged, but the rest of our nation is still strong.  He will have to try and siege our capital or split his forces up taking down our fortified castles.

I do not think we will be getting aid though from anyone.  Maybe see if we get a harsh winter, but he is probably goping to be getting supplies through the damn Rucus boarders.

1217 AD, Midwinter

Weather becomes harsher and harsher, but The Rainbow Scepter is pulsating vividly, no doubt keeping the snow and wind in check.

You wait a whole month while the Damdamians besiege the border forts. It seems that Danus Fiscus decided to keep it slow (or was ordered to do so).

As your forces grow to forty four thousand, with some extra light cavalry from Helliste ("and not a soldier more", the Helliste diplomats report), the Damdamians have amassed a troop of over fifty five thousand at this point. Currently there's no more troops in Rucus or Damdamian borderlands, your spies report, but your officers are rather pessimistic, sure that another horde will spring out of the ground in few weeks.

It's end of the second week of Midwinter when you learn that Caius Cuscus has returned; taking half of the troop, he is directing an assault against Duchy of Eval, while Danus Fiscus remained to besiege Methiantese border castles.

A) We've ought to wait a little more.
B) Now is the time to strike! We must rush Danus's troops!
C) Now is the time to strike! We must bypass Danus and smack our old friend Caius!
