I wish option A didn't sound so much like another -1 for Reckless Charge. But I don't want to let them wander away, not toward the extra 10K running amok in Eval.

I'm sure we will get options on how to proceed once we find them.

probably is a trap, but I think a poorly thought out one. Let them get some distance, and hit it with cav. If they have guns hidden there we will just overrun them.

The chase continues for almost two days, and the scouts report that the 'crusaders' are widening the gap.

Two days later, it is evident that your army is not very keen on pursuit! The gap has widened greatly, and there's now a day of difference between the two of you.

A) Chase them some more, maybe they will flee across the border if we continue pushing?
B) Time to set camp and prepare for another attack.

I thought we were just gonna sack the camp they left behind. Not chase the army.

After the war we might want a talk with our drill instructors, if we can't outmarch a foreign army that doesn't have a military drill bonus.

Looks like they are getting their fresh troops either way. If anything I say we fall back a bit. Force them deep into our territory, so that they have to waste resources on our advanced forts and move away from their supply, if they want to fight us.
