You decide to sponsor and partake in the Hunt, to the rejoicing of noblemen and clergy alike.

The hunt begins at the very early morning, when the greyness still occupies the skies and the first sunlight is merely a tint on the distant horizon. Few of smaller game are captured early.

Then one of the squires at the rear gasps audibly and nearly squees, frantically pointing at a nearby hill.

"T-T-The Stag!" The freckled youth sputters out, and all the eyes turn in the direction he is pointing. Indeed - the fabled White Stag stands upon the peak of the mound! It's majestic white form is still, its red eyes gazing upon you and your entourage. The Priests are visibly excited, for the Stag has not been seen for over a hundred years.

A) This is it! My chance at glory! I will be the one to hunt it down!
B) Only the bestest of my hunters will have the priviledge of chasing it!

//I like to point out that the last time you guys caught the White Stag was all the way in SPAMKINGDOM, in year 825

You tell the others that as the Emperor, you must be the one to hunt down the Stag!

So you give the chase with your horse, and the White Stag promptly runs into the woods. The chase moves rapidly between ever-thickening wall upon wall of trees.

It finally stops at the edge of a cliff overseeing a fast, stony stream below. You pull out an arrow and pull on the bowstring, as the Stag faces you...

"You, who commands the metal that burns. Halt."

Did the Stag just speak? Inside your head??

"I am Kiardane, spirit of the northern forest, and a guest in the body of this noble stag. Due to the workings of the spirit world, killing the stag would mean killing me. If you spare my host, I shall bestow upon you one of your choosing; knowledge, or power."

A) "Ain't got time for this spiritual babble." *twang*
B) "Alright, okay, this is a fine deal."

Killing the stag means prosperity, which we need, but I don't think that is worth killing the spirit of the Northern Woods over.
