You make a fair point. But I don't think giving them a temple or free worship will keep them from aiding their ally against us if we attack Eldrican. No point picking b and either wasting our money or pissing off our clergy on the hopeless cause of keeping them out of the war.

I'm not sure I trust our guy to have correctly guessed their intention... which is why I'd rather hear them than assume it's impossible or ridiculous.

They have a formal alliance with Eldrican. It is safe to assume that when war comes, they will back Eldrican.

Truthfully, my best guess is that they'll demand straight out for Houlandin to convert. Which is frankly impossible both for dream-related reasons and for practical politics of not-yet mended internal strife. But I won't know unless I ask them what's up.

I'm back, and I see the rebellion is going well for us and the plans for our war against Eldrican are being discussed. I am pleased that nothing went wrong while I was gone. As for the current vote, I don't think I even really need to say how bad of an idea it is to convert. No. Just no. C. Let's see if they have a less controversial proposal first.
