Every-time there is an important update that takes a bit more than usual, I always think that the roll was a mess and haspen is writing the flavor text of how badly fucked we are, and I get tempted to change the vote

although in this situation he can just use the same roll for different situations and only change the bonuses, if it's a bad outcome it will be bad anyway

I just thought for a second that although the crown of authority isn't a charisma booster it could had some effect in this negotiation, is it Too late to say sorry try to convince? look, it's a crown, an enchanted crown, that made the nobles stop talking when we first put it in our head, and we are pressing our authority

Almost all of them do, and the Shadowranks come for the kill! The elite guards however easily slice through the enemies of the Crown, and you have to only protect yourself from the brave-slash-foolish few who manage to approach you, and even those are easily dispatched by your hand.

Before reinforcements arrive, the council room is full of dead, wounded or surrendered noblemen.

Though you're pretty sure you don't see at least half a dozen faces that were present when you demanded submission.

The captain of the Shadowranks arrives with extra guards to personally ascertain your safety.

As for the noblemen who surrendered...

A) Release them.
B) Interrogate and imprison them!
