Wait, did Malcos' messenger leave without talking to us? The 'Issue' preventing us from accepting his aid has been dealt with. Alac made a fool of himself, and we can presume him dead, so I see no issue taking up Malcos on his offer now.

C) Bombard away in hopes of capturing the city before she arrives.
D) Retreat from the capital northeast towards Methiant and wait.

You decide to keep siegeing. A messenger is sent to Queen Karkhuta, offering negotiations or at least some modicum of agreement toward future of Lametania.

Two days pass, however, and scouts report that Queen Karkhuta and her army is going to be here within hours. The messenger did not return, nor did Karkhuta send someone of her own to parley with you. Your officers are growing worried and a new council has been called to discuss several things...

About the negotiations...

A) Let's send another messenger.
B) Let's ride out in private with bodyguards to meet with Queen Karkhuta.
C) Let's forget it.

About the siege...

A) Lift the siege and march to meet with/against Queen Karkhuta.
B) Continue the siege and hope for best.
C) Rearrange the siegeplan so that most of your Army is in the north.

I'm guessing Alec told her we told him to fight her. I think B has a chance of working, but the risk is to high. I wish our scouts could tell us more about the state of her army after fighting Alec.

I'll vote CC. I wish we still had a 'bugger off back towards Methiant' option so we could meet up with the incoming warpriests and then come back to interrupt her siege.
