Some Parsian high nobles have recently met with an envoy from Rosamana. The Queen of the lizard r(a)iders wants to obtain Fireblood and Fireblood machinery, and is offering luxurious Chia threadworm fabrics and indigo-glazed pottery of highest make. The envoy is currently staying in Parsian heartlands, ready to travel to Methiant and discuss trade details with you.

You have no doubts that these wares were obtained - and more will be obtained - by Fireblood-powered plunder and savagery.

I agree that this trade is probally a terrible idea, but B is saying yes to meeting their ambassador, not to a deal. We have the CHA bracelet, and might be able to squeeze deal too good to pass up out of them. Perhaps including some assurance that they will not use their new toys against us or our allies in the form of Spouses for our children and/or in-laws from Rosamana's family.

I doubt we will find a satisfactory offer, but there is little harm in trying.

The dwarves are let in next. They are diplomats only; a bunch of fat, jovial dwarves draped in colorful and pricey robes, with shiny bald heads and luxurious beards. Their leader, a shorter-than-usual dwarf in golden-thread coat steps forward, bows his shiny head and smiles to you.

"Greetings, Empress Ruberta. We have learned that your government possesses quite an interesting artifact from this 'Orcworld', indeed? Let's call it a 'death box'. Our runesmiths in Ankurvat have meticulously gathered reports on the poisonous dust storm and the 'death box' itself, and are quite interested in obtaining it. We propose a trade - our runesmiths could make you an artifact in exchange for the 'death box'. Or our merchants could send you a yearly supply of money for, ah, maybe eight years, yes?"

A) Artifact for an artifact is the only equal price in this trade!
B) Money is multitool, and always welcome.
