Few days later you receive joyous news - Cuduthleng Ironbeak has been slain! It's skeletal body, unfortunately, fell upon a small town, destroying few buildings; but worse happened when peasants and Hurthlings tried to take apart Ironbeak's massive bones for souvenirs, as the marrow began to rot and released toxic fumes that engulfed the local area, killing people and flora alike.
Nevertheless! The dreaded beast of times forgotten has been slain, and there's much celebration around Methiant.
1178 AD, Midsummer
A group of cartographers, let by wise Iónach Tennech, has arrived at the capital, asking for audience.
"Great Empress!" The scholars, led by Iónach, drop to their knees. "We wish to embark on a journey far south into lands of Damdamians. We wish to chart their lands, learn the borders of their numerous nations, and find the strange 'cocoa' plants and 'black elves' that some obscure documents of old sages speak of. But for this we need funds, to procure mercenaries, pay any possible tolls and taxes as well as convince potentially uncooperative scholars in the south. A written document of endorsement from you would help us in dealings with politicians down there, too."
A) "You can have the money, but I won't risk signing my name under any potential disasters you cause in the south."
B) "We're short on money, but I will gladly provide you with documents to give your group some diplomatic power."
C) "That is good. You will have the money, and you will have written endorsement as well!"
