I'm pretty sure Ruberta is explicitly religious. She prayed to the Pantheon for fertility with her new husband, and called upon the Oracles to sort out the recent Orc World mess.

The past is in the past, and the Pantheonist clergy has settled down. The old generation of priests must have died out or become crazy doom-speakers.

You decide to offer an audience to the doomsayer.

Next afternoon, Roc Albaget enters your audience room. He is bald, except a short beard, has cold blue eyes and rather excessive amount of golden earrings in his ears. He knees in front of you.

"My Lady Empress, doom approaches! A vicious beast will soon awaken from its slumber in the mountains near Methiant and begin its rampage across our peaceful countryside!"

"Oh no!" You say, as courtiers murmur. "But when that will happen?"

"Very soon, Lady Empress!"

"Uh, and where the beast sleeps?"

"In mountains near Methiant!"

You squint eyes at him. He isn't a very good seer-

"I know what you might be thinking, Lady Empress, but I'm a good seer! If you want further proof - I can tell you the gender of the child inside your womb! I can tell you about his future!"

A) "No... no, that, that won't be necessary." Ask someone to politely escort this lunatic outta the palace (and outside the capital, while they're at it).
B) "Your information is of most importance. Continue, please, I'm intrigued!"
C) "You wasted my time with your insane ramblings, and stirred hearts of my people into fear! To the dungeon with you, at once!!"

Unless the prophet claims he's going to die to a stupid decision  the voices inside his head tell him to do within 2 years of taking the reigns of control I'm going to think he's a probably a fraud, but I'm interested in what he thinks anyway.
