The messenger is allowed in first and he drops to his knees.

"Lady Empress! Toxic fumes!"

He elaborates on that toxic fumes have descended along a dust storm upon Orcworld Fortress. If it were fully crewed, there would be hundreds if not more of dead, but from the crew of fifty, half managed to escape with eyes, skin and mouths as if on fire, their skin covered with burning rash.

What's worse, it seems that some of the toxic air is being pushed into the tunnel in the mountains. While soldiers guarding the tunnel experience no symptoms except occassional watering of eyes, the commander of the soldiers on Methiant side of the tunnel is iffy about this whole thing, and is asking to be allowed to bring down the mountain upon the tunnel with copious amount of Fireblood.

A) We can't abandon a strange new world like that!.
B) Put a heavy, protective gate at our side of the tunnel and wait.
C) Fine then, Orcworld was nothing but money sink. Destroy the tunnel!
