You send the Army to quell the riots in northwest, as well as write a threatening letter to the Pantheonist high clerics, demanding they help bring peace.

Three days later, a terrified courtier arrives with the response.
You have been excommunicated by Archpriest of Pantheon! Apparently, the high clergy decided that your policy of tolerance has failed, your moral and spiritual (and doctrinal) authority is a joke, and that it is about time the region of Luathbas reverts to the old faith of Pantheon, and deals with the heretic clot that was affecting the spiritual life flow of the peoples for decades. Something like that.
True to their words, your Spymaster quickly procures a copy of Proclamation of Pantheon, in which Archpriest advises all faithful to help restore the Pantheonist peace and unity thorough the Empire, because the Emperors of Yoean Dynasty are not willing to do it themselves.
As your Army is working their asses to quell the riots in northwest, there are new cities in central Methiant where Pantheonists are fighting with your officials, city guards and those not of Pantheon faith.
It is obvious at the court that you have no control over the situation. Nobles grumble and whisper behind your back, clearly being fed up with everything that has occured so far in Methiant about all this religious thing going.
Still, you must at least showcase your power. Where do you send the Army next?
A) To quell the riots in central Methiant.
B) To reduce numbers of Pantheon high clergy.
C) Both of the above.
D) Neither, the Gods will judge us!
