Lets see...BATMAN redoux should have...2 votes right? Even if we count last time, Orca backed out.

I...maybe he pulled the people who were voting for Batman earlier and used that votebox?

There were two people without a clue who were voting for BATMAN Redux in the Research phase, add them plus my vote plus 0rca's and you've got the four he counted plus the guy who submitted the Vindicator. Right?

At a guess, I owuld say that it is counting votes from the period of the research phase in which the bug revision was being voted on as a research action...

Found this post on the mentioned prior voting
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
These votes have clearly been double-counted or revised. 0cra_tr0per clearly stated that they were voting for their own design(Vindicator) and madkash are already counted.

Revise Safety Margin: Reduced Safety Margin

While we expected it to be heavy, the extent of that seems excessive. Going over the notes it seems that various hardening efforts were to be made to the ammunition to allow armour-piercing. This seems sensible when dealing with unknown threats, provided you are not using ammunition with a contact trigger... We hope to find and remove hardened tips from the ammunition, reducing its weight and thus the force required to propel them, for an overall reduction in weight.
While collateral damage is inevitable with explosive and incendiary rounds, we hope to apply more focus to the fragmentation and shaped-charge rounds to direct more of the force into the fragments or forward angles respectively. With luck this will cause the fragmentation rounds to produce more scattered-incidental damage and less broad-obliteration. The shaped-charge rounds likewise ought to project more of their force forward and into the target, and less around and across the general region of the target.
Finally we are tightening up the arming mechanism to make it less responsive to brief changes in velocity. It ought to have to travel for at least a metre at something vaguely within the realm of projectile velocities before arming. This has the issue of making point-blank deployment ineffective, so users should be advised that suicide ploys won't work...

This is all the votes that I could find since the previous update...

One of PROMETHEUS's famous ties. If only we could weaponize them, we would be invincible.

I like the termite, umm, bullets? flame-thrower? actually  Ikinda want it now to find out... but we have a chance at making a dodgy design workable, so let's go with that...

Oh right. This is a thing. Should probably

Bugs reroll: 3!

(Your other numbers would have been 9 and 1, if you had gone for a full redesign. Not very effective and super expensive, but at least it would be bug free.)

BATMAN's Worst Knightmare.
The project went to work immediately on fixing the biggest weakness of the armor-closing the gaps down to reasonable size greatly increasing its utility. With the replaced plates, it no longer reduces the mobility of the equipped operator more than you would expect a metal suit to. Despite the upgrades, it would still be difficult utilizing the armor alongside any heavy weapons.

So it was going to be a 1 on Effectiveness and a 9 on Cost? Ouch.

Anyway, we should probably equip the swordsman with a set of armor, since he relies on getting up close and personal, and he'll look EVEN MORE AWESOME like that.

Hey, Stirk, is it too late to specify the color of the BATMAN armor?

No, it would have been 3 effectiveness, 9 cost, 1 bug. It is always rolled in that order. But for rerolls, you just get the first roll and the second two are just for fun.

You can specify its color if you want, seeing as it hasn't been specified in the design.

Ah, I thought you'd've rolled it in order and then presented the results.

Anyway, for color the standard set is of course going to be black. And sometimes very, very dark grey.

Except for Excalibur's wielder, we're giving him a set of shiny plate mail with gold trim, because he deserves it. Also, he's going to need it.

We could give one to the hoser... I worry a bit that the lack of mobility could limit the effectiveness of a weapon... Hrmm, does hose count as a heavy weapon actually? *sighs*
