Have the human stay out of realistic pike range and finish off the crossbow, get the lasher while he's down and then help the human with the pike. I also don't think that under any circumstances the human should be able to fire her crossbow again with a broken collar bone, at the very least the next shot should jar the wound so much that she collapses from pain.
