Matthias was tasked with killing all sapient life. We are sapient life, therefore Matthias WILL try to kill us at some point, therefore Matthias is not a friend, therefore we should leave without Matthias, it will make it harder for him to find us, especially since this ship seems to be the only way out of here. A forum interactive choice game however, isn't limiting itself to things remaining the same as most TV shows are.

Considering the computer and the ship are one and the same, it probably has more answers about itself than a body and mind separate from itself

Not necessarily.

The ship will have pertinent information on how to operate itself, but it has no need to be able to wax philosophically about the ultimate reasons it was constructed, or to meaningfully explain any of the historical circumstances leading up to its creation, or to warn about any consequences of its activation.

Indeed, I dont know if we can either... That's why I said "attempt".  It never hurts to try-- AND, since the reanimated body would essentially be a blood puppet, if it gets cocky, we can just put it down with a thought.

More dangerous though, is that the device we are in has a giant "Sign of Armok" sigil pulsing and glowing on the floor. The last time a symbol like that got blood on it, things got real, real fast.  Be careful around this one, M'kay?

(There is probably a REASON that this is the "Clara III", and not the "Clara I". Just sayin.)
