Dwarves and their emotional needs?
« on: May 16, 2017, 05:22:40 pm »

Hello! I've stumbled into a big problem. My dwarves apparantly have emotional needs. I added the [NO_EMOTION] tag to them, which successfully let things like "Urist felt nothing after seeing death." or "Urist felt nothing hear his own bed" happen, but.. "Urist is unfocused after not being able to pray!" or "Urist is unfocused after being unable to fight!" How do I remove the unfocused/focused system?

You want the mod forum for a quicker reply (needs are seperate from emotions).

Most of them are super easy to overcome, if it helps.

The main one is praying, which can be solved with a no-god-defined temple anywhere in the fort. I've never had those needs cause any kind of huge emotional distress in a dwarf so long as their other needs are met.

But yes, the modding forum is what you are looking for.  ;D
