Unnatural Selection: Countdown to dick nagas.
« on: May 15, 2017, 01:37:44 pm »

UNNATURAL SELECTION

Congratulations [INSERT INMATE NUMBER HERE], you have been selected to take part in a BioGenesis combat test! This is an exciting opportunity to test out some of BioGenesis' new, cutting edge genetic modification systems, relieve the stress created by your incarceration, and even gain an all inclusive pardon!  The rules for this test are extremely simple:

1. You will be provided with a BioGenesis personal  Gene Modifier. Each Gene modifier is programmed to allow its user to alter their genome up to 10 full times. These alterations can be minor or all encompassing; change one gene or change them all! The only limit is that you may only do it 10 times before the Gene Modifier requires a recharge.

2. Your gene modifier will be fully recharged whenever you kill another participant of the test.

3. The Combat arena will change every time a member of the test is killed. A new participant will be introduced during this change.

4. If a participant ever manages to kill 10 other participants, they will be considered a winner and removed from the test. The test will continue without them.

BioGenesis thanks you for your mandatory participation in this test.

BioGenesis: Life, Perfected.

Here's our current arena. It starts nice and boring. You're down in the dark section.

I need 6 people to start this murder party. Waitlist is a lottery, not based on when you showed up.

Question: Soooooo... one could change from one genome to any other one in a single turn?

I'm in!

GP MJ // // AB
// YZ // // //
// // // NK //
// VL // // //
// // EC // //
EN // // // //
// // BF // //

(I will put my modifications in bold; the first few'll be public, to help everyone figure this all out)
Body: Average humanoid, willing to help everyone figure out what genomes do what. Brown hair, brown eyes, light tan skin, 5 feet or so tall. Has arms, legs, and a head.

Edit: (Anyone mind if I call this Geneticon?)

Yes. From this
GP MJ // // //
// YZ // // //
// // // NK //
// VL // // //
// // EC // //
EN // // // //
// // BF // //

To this
GP MJ // // //
// YZ // // //
// // // NK //
// VL // // //
// // EC // //
EN // // // //
// // BF // AA

Is one modification and takes 1 turn.

From this
GP MJ // // //
// YZ // // //
// // // NK //
// VL // // //
// // EC // //
EN // // // //
// // BF // //

to this

WH AT TH EF UC
KD ID YO US AY
TO ME YO UL IT
TL ES HI TI LL
FU CK IN GR EC
KY OU MA TE //
// // BF // //

Is also one modification and takes 1 turn. Genome, remember, refers to the ENTIRE code, not a single GENE, which is just one part of that code.

And yes, you're all standard humans right now...well mostly standard. You're technically genderless as per this set up.

Looks like the waitlist has filled. It's me, Harry Baldman, NJW2000, AoshimaMichio, Coolrune206, and either Rauthendir or FallacyofUrist, depending on whether having a sheet or not is required to truly be in. Sorry, Dustan, better luck next time.

I get the feeling life will be cheap in this game, so I wouldn't worry about long wait-times.
Also if we need a genome to get in Dustan will end up in the game from the start as NJW also does not have a genome up yet.

How did I not notice that? *facepalm*

Anyway, on further inspection, the OP only says that Piecewise needs 6 people to START the party. So, there may be room or more players. Then again, the current waitlisting model would sustain the player count at whatever it starts with, so probably not.

it's lottery based. Don't assume quite yet, because he might just assign a default genome to you if you do not have one.
