I can type at almost 100 words a minute, and so putting out big blocks of text is nothing. Of course thinking about all the stuff that goes into it takes time too. I update about once every 1.5 to 2 days.

Getting income has more to do with souls than intelligence. They should give you influence.

I mean, you can add onto existing continents pretty easily. If I remember correctly, 10 IP gets you one biologically significant area. So a 50 IP continent is large enough to have a desert, a jungle, a temperate zone, a taiga, and a tundra. But that was last game, now things are a little different because each island (we need a name for those b/c I keep wanting to call them spokes and hubs) is completely separate.

There's nothing stopping you from having a planet with a small continent or two and building up on it as time goes on instead of waiting. Personally, it's what I would do if I were building a planet.

Just slightly more than everyone else is willing to spend.

He doesn't know the answer to your question because it's a contest. The player with the best submission wins his favor. So if no one attempts it, it would cost you 1 IP. But if someone puts 30 IP into it, it would cost you 31. That's an oversimplification because it doesn't just depend on IP, but also your idea and description, but you get the gist.
