Not an action post. Move along.

"Gunshots. Which team of idiots do you think just shot the other team of idiots? Well, what do you guys think? someone ought to go out and take control of those fools before they really do put a ole in the ship? Not sure I wanna risk going out with tehm shooting each other like that though. Caught in the crossfire is no place to be."

"Well, that's me out. Have fun, guys."
((Can we also assume that I met the Mess Hall people since you quoted that post where I said I'd do that? :P
Because if I did, they're acting like I didn't [it doesn't seem clearly mentioned]))
((Sure, I mean you guys are like 3 rooms away. Just Yell. They'll hear you.))
((Y'all be pretty focused on that cigarette game, hum? :I
MAYBE I should've yelled in character.
Or maybe nobody heard me yelling back there with exclamation points!
Humpf! :P It's like the folks there chose to keep playing despite hearing gunshots.))
Go back, and identify everything you said to the card players. Like I said in ooc. Otherwise, nah, not hunting through pages of text to find out what you might have maybe said at some point or another. and the gunshots happened last turn so it's not like we're just sitting around while the ship sinks or something. Seriously, either give us the information we need to act on, or quit griping about us not acting on it.

Team Boiler Cluster

Denver sees Charlie gesturing frantically at the front of the ship and edges towards him, covering the front of the ship. He takes a peek in the boiler room or front if the ship, whichever Charles points to, gun raised. If no response from Charles, he checks the front.

"Charles, what is it? Boiler or front?"

"God. I just hope they don't come this way with that bullshit. Who here is the closest we have to an officer? Who can pretend to be in charge?"

Simon simply stares morosely down at the three cigarettes he's been left with, debating whether he should risk debt to Alice for a chance at glory.  Then he hears Ed and Yarrick start discussing gunshots, which jerks him away from his thoughts. "Shhwuh?  Gunshots?  Those idiots are shooting at each other?  God damn it, why is this unit full of flunkies?!  Urgh, Radiohead, tell 'em to cease fire or something, before they all become martyrs to incompetence..."

Keep gambling and drinking, one last round.  Simon's luck has to change at some point, and after he's completely plastered seems like exactly that point!

"Sure."

The radioman walks up to the door, leans out and turns his speakers to max.

"OI, YA GITS, CHECK YOURSELVES BEFORE YOU WRECK YOURSELVES."

He then walks back to the table.
"Now, who's dealing?"

Bob called down the stairs. "What 'it' are you talking about?"

Bob asks the question, and remains ready with his pistol. To shoot people. If they aren't friendlies.

This being the first thing Carolina hears, she chimes in "Sounds like my kind of game."

"God. I just hope they don't come this way with that bullshit. Who here is the closest we have to an officer? Who can pretend to be in charge?"

"Huh? Oh, I'm obviously in charge here. Cause I've got non-shooting-things skills and the best hat." (Semi-sarcastically.)
Alice points to her hat, which is on a nearby table.

This being the first thing Carolina hears, she chimes in "Sounds like my kind of game."

"Oh, hey there. Haven't seen you around before. You new here?"
