Dr. North thanks you profusely and bows out of your office. Assuming he doesn't manage to get himself blown up in the next couple weeks, that could be a useful favor you've done him.

Alex Wit enters on Dr. North's heels, saluting sharply. Word has spread through the ranks about the partial survival of the original translation team, Alex Wit's team, along with SG-4 and SG-7 would like to volunteer to provide fire support along with the second rescue team.

They're fully aware that there likely will not be enough armor for them to be outfitted along with the tactical team, but they still want to lend a hand to the assault.

A- Agree to send them in. You can always use more people with guns.
B- Give a hard no, and order Alex to pass the word along. There's no need to risk more lives needlessly.

To clarify, is this infantry armor shortage, vehicular armor shortage, both?

If we have enough infantry armor for first unit and have some vehicular armor, I would say send first group as infantry and these volunteers as vehicle people.

More people, more organized chaos since they're on the same side shooting into another side that may be disorganized but with plasma-killy weapon that we just had armor against that's only infantry-level.

Isn't our infantry armor just shaped ceramics? Are we so poor that we don't have more than one unit's worth of ceramics?

Anyways, as Aseaheru said, send them in as vehicle crews.

No the infantry armor and vehicle armor are both specially doped ceramics that, when exposed to high energy pulses, ablate into a particularly disruptive cloud.

Both.  You'll probably have enough vehicle plating for another two vehicles, but no more beyond that.

A, but limit them to crews of vehicles, get two extra vehicles in the group as a result.

Drivers dont need personal armor, do they?

You agree to the request, with the caveat that they operate primarily as vehicle crews and stay off the front line. They've got heart, and a lot of loyalty, but not quite the same level of training as a tactical team.

You finally managed to convince your higher-ups to send you a couple of crates of additional weapons in order to outfit the Aztec revolt. Now the choice comes to what kind of weapons you want to ask for.

A- F88 Austeyr rifles, same as tactical team uses.
B- P90s, lighter, higher capacity, but more limited range.
C- AK-47s. Dirt cheap and can double as clubs.
D- Wait, why are we giving seventy primitive screwheads guns? How about a nice crate of machetes or something...

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

C, an AK-47 can not only double as a club but also later be repaired with whatever garbage you've got lying around! So if they fail, we'll have the makings of a proper guerrilla movement!
