A strain of Cyanos Subfugio develops a primitive mouth to absorb nutrients. This new strain is called Cyanos Devoro.

The Cyanos Lemonpie evolved a color range more into the dark blue and cyan so it is harder to see. It is known as Cyanos Camos

A Group of cyanos lemonpie gathered together and evolved to stay together, so they can absorb more sunlight between them. They are called Cyanos Collegia
Does not really change biology so I didn't include a picture.

Yet another strain of Cyanos Devoro develops larger mouths to consume even more nutrients. This has a nasty side effect of causing them to grow larger by 200 nanometers. The new strain is known as Cyanos Vescor.

A group of Cyanos acri, in danger of being outcompeted by their mobile progeny, grow much smaller and begin infiltrating Cyanos vescro to steal nutrients. They become Effugia effugia

By the way, I've termed the secondary-predator genus Fames (Latin for hunger) and the viral genus Effugia (Latin for subterfuge).

A large portion of Cyanos Vescor begins to get sick from the viral attackers.
In response they grow many more spikes to keep the virus away. Their mouth grows larger to fit spikes in it. In fact, they become predatory and start eating smaller Algae for more nutrients! The excess energy from consuming smaller algae allows them to become larger.
Due to consuming smaller algae their photosynthesis is less relied on for energy. This new strain is known as Fames Vescor.

I'm guessing there is land, but it's inaccessible due to a lack of atmospheric gases. Maybe a Oxygen Catastrophe event is in order, kill most non-algae species and leave the rest scrambling for new niches.

And continuing the arms race:



Effugia effugia evolve a specialized shape to drill into the membranes of other cells, bypassing the need to go through a mouth. It is now Effugia turbenincendium

Also, because predators evolved from algae are significantly different than those evolved from Phagos, I'm calling the predatory algae genus Sorbeo (Latin "suck up, swallow") instead. Updating chart soon.

Phagos Schwish like it brother species has took an radical evolution, It grown seem feather-like claw, grow shock-pad that look eyes and mouth with some-sort strong white stutance to eat it. It cap turn green and it has grown basic-pattern recognizer also known an brain inside it cap...  what shall it be call now? Green Cap Phagos?
