After everyone left the hotel, Francis immediately began to work on his accountant disguise. When he was finished, he looked unrecognizable.
His sleek brown hair was now grey, and he wore a fake beard so convincing that it seemed like he grew it himself. He wore a nice suit and carried a bag filled with all sorts of forged documents. One of those was his résumé, a piece of paper filled with nothing but falsehoods. It told stories about how he managed a noble's many expenses, as well as stories about merchants who's fortunes he made. Even the name at the top of the page was a fabrication. Francis Callaghan had now become Samuel Goldman, a 50 year old fossil who had worked in the industry for 30 years. He's only recently traveled to New Dunhaven, being here for only a few months, but he hopes to bring his international expertise and create a new standard of accounting. He fits in among the merchant and noble districts but he would stick out like a sore thumb anywhere else.
With that out of the way, it was time to go to a job interview with the owner of the Grackenwald Depository. Sure, Francis had to use what limited influence he had among the Vespers to get it, but an interview was an interview. Hopefully, a man like Mr. Goldman would be able to convince the owner to give him a job. An accountant has access to some very private documents after all.
Also, Francis will try to get an idea of how tight the security is around the depository. Can't forget that.
