Really the main attraction is the large bomb-bay for me. Also, with a better pure bomber we could maybe look towards improving small-arms and really push a land-advantage.

A large payload wouldn't matter if our aircraft gets shot down before being able to deploy it.

I mean, shouldn't be a problem seeing as we currently have air-superiority.

More bombers that are cheaper and faster is better than fewer bombers that are slow but carry lots of bombs, because the one bomber can only hit one target at a time and is practically the definition of an "all your eggs, one basket" scenario.

Reminder: SAMs DGAF about aerial superiority. And I'd expect Cannala to roll one out, if not this turn, then the turn after we introduce a new high-altitude bomber.

If SAM's are the worry- then electronic countermeasures (radar jammers and such) along with our own ground-to-ground and air-to-ground missiles (radar-seeking) would need to be considered. Theoretically we could have a designated anti-SAM aircraft that would disable any air-defenses and allow for the bigger planes to perform sorties or what have you.

You know you can just say "please don't lock" instead right? ;)
Maybe tell them to get more people then.
Are you quite certain that you aren't just trolling?
It's okay, the Cannalans have been tied at a 2-2 vote since well before I went to bed last night because nobody looks in their thread anymore.
What? I'm just saying that if Cannalans have fucking 4 people voting around, while we have what, 25, Cannalans could fucking use more people.

More bombers that are cheaper and faster is better than fewer bombers that are slow but carry lots of bombs, because the one bomber can only hit one target at a time and is practically the definition of an "all your eggs, one basket" scenario.
I don't fucking understand where this "carries more". SeaMaster took at least 15 tons internally (since that was the requirement) and still had a sizeable lift power left. It was also getting over 1100km/h in straight flight on sea level. Sure, you can argue "b-but SeaMaster is 1955!" Sure, but the engines are 1950s and it's not like we aren't slinging 1950s designs around anyway.

Yeah I believe some form of ARM guidance is considered for missiles as a revision, so we could use this bomber to drop missiles on enemy radar.

Hey nuke, how many vertical stabilizers does the dustbiter have?

Also: the vengeful performed admirably at sea last turn, despite not being navally inclined
