I would really like a version of the demolisher with a velociraptor and snorkel. Would write one if I had access to computer right now.

Fun little mad idea.  Essentially, cluster bomb Sarukh:

UF-RA-41 "Firestorm"
A larger Sarukh rocket modified to carry 50kg of Firecracker bomblets deployed via a time-delayed charge to scatter the explosives over a target area at ranges similar to the Sarukh.

We have been behind in vehicles for a while, so we should get a modern heavy medium tank.

Edit: I have no idea what you're talking about Taricus

Um... Hi? I've read through the thread (Yes, the entire thread) and been lurking for a while, finally decided to speak up (Is it ok to just join in right away or would you guys rather me stick around for a bit longer?)...

Anyway, my 2 cents for the tank suggestions: We have Mangalloy, why are we not using mangalloy for at least the front armor? (Or maybe to shore up the thinner sides?) We used it for the Cataphract and the Haast and the Tiger Armor so it shouldn't be too hard to use it as tank armor... Or are we worried it'll cost 2 Mn?

I hope I'll be able to contribute, Glory to United Forenia.

By all means join in. We can also use more people to argue vehemently debate spiritedly with.

Anyway, if it's possible to spend a single aluminium to have a aluminium-reinforced, wooden plane, it would be reasonable to to assume we can spend a single manganese to get partial coverage on a tank.

It's not the resource cost so much as it's... well, not suitable for tank armour; the RHA steel the tank already has manganese in it; too much and it'll become too brittle for it to protect the vehicle optimally.

Well, Taricus, just specify using the maximum logical amount of manganese for round-stopping power.

Heck, I'd think a super-hardened (And thus very tolerant of high heats, think almost cast iron) spaced-armor plate might be decent at defeating HEAT rounds, and even sabot/AP-type shells. It'd shatter, for sure, but it would also probably deform AP/sabot penetrators and mess with HEAT rounds (i.e., detonating before it reaches the main tank)

The problem with spaced armour is the mounting; we wouldn't be able to mount it on the front of the tank meaning the effect it'll have is somewhat limited on performance. Honestly the only place I can think of that would benefit from it would be the tracks, and that's less for protection and more for the life of the tracks.

After a little discussion on discord, and the realisation we do, or did, have slat armour, means it's been added onto the design.

Do we have tracer rounds?  I am not seeing any and, well, it might explain why our improved autocannons are not doing anything. I hate to say this, but I thinkthat we probably need to burn a revision on the things. Maybe with some incendiary powers? We would need them to be clearly labelled so that they could be removed from belts prior to ambushes and such...

Glad to finally be on board, I do have one insane design idea remembered, not throwing it out for the voting pool just yet, as it more or less needs the Saltseeker idea made...

For my vote I'm torn on the Firefly and the Demolisher... The Turbohaast is very nice, but we need to push them back in the jungle, and we can't mass firebomb the tree canopy in the wet season, and said canopy helps cover them from close air support... A modern tank or the clip-on rockets will help negate Cannala's armor advantage

(Ebbor, minor discrepancy with the Firefly description: First sentence strongly implies it's meant as an air-to-ground weapon, but the last sentence explicitly says it's intended as primarily for air-to-air combat.)

(RAM, I think the parachutes are the better choice for this revision: The Reckless Effect became cheap, so mass paratroopers is a viable strategy, we just need them able to bring some anti-tank weapons! Gives us a slightly better shot at landing at the non-jungle lanes too.)

The clip-on rockets won't be too viable; we have no way of particularly aiming them.

Point... Just noticed something off though: Demolisher uses 3 'Eagle Eye MkII's... Did you mean Eagle Sight MkII? Eagle Eyes are Cannala's radar system... (Is this how I'm going to contribute? By mass proofreading design ideas?)
