Not being able to land tanks was specifically stated as a problem.  But honestly with the state of the rest of our fleet designing a lander would be arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

The problem was described as follows.

Quote
Despite an impressive air showing, Forenia just can't regain a beach-head. They lack the appropriate landing craft, and their troops in rowboats (now, I'm giving them this as a free consolation prize, equipped with outboard motors) just get torn to shreds. Their paratroopers do better, but these lightly armed infantry are more of a great addition to a naval assault than the core of it, and without some eventual armor support to back them up, they mostly get captured and sent to labor camps or forced to walk the plank. Cannala will have access to the Titanium here next turn, although they don't currently use any. They may also name this island.

We have the Salamander now.

Anyway, not being able to recover territory, ever, is just silly.

That reminds me, we should name the northern island.  Maybe something like "New Forenia" or "Unity" or "We're Coming For You Cannala" or something.

Either Lesser Forenia or Tereshkova.

That's intended. Nav and Taricus did it too.

That's intended. Nav and Taricus did it too.

They have 1 vote for the revision, and then votes for design doctrines.  Those are two separate vote tallies.  You are voting for two separate revisions.

Why do we get to vote for design doctrines? I thought those were stuff we gotffom designs, not stuff to choose at will.

I'm not sure why they're doing it.  I think they're voting to make those aspects Design Doctrines?

Either way, we're not doing multivotes for the revision.  Are you wanting the compact deathray or the aT-J04?

Also there is no reason not to push in two areas rather then one, we literally lose nothing.

actually, when both sides attack in one place, one side WILL gain territory. SO if we are confident we could repel an attack but are not confident we could win on the offensive, the right move might be to not attack and let them crash on defenses.
Note, this applies when fighting for the same territory. When fights happen at the border, this doesn't seem to apply: see when they invaded mountains while we invaded southern tundra: nobody gained land that turn.
