While I definitely think the Axis has a better bonus for joining, we should think long-term here. Allies will win, and again, giving the Axis new armor won't change that. At most, it may prolong the war or make it a bit bloody for both sides, but ultimately the Allies will win. And when that happens, we will be affected.

Ah crap guys. Axis WILL lose. Unless Sensei goes way off the rails, the Axis will lose. The Allies have the might of an industrial giant (And most of the rest of the world) behind it, and will eventually win, no matter how many reasonable changes Sensei might make. And, plus, we're IN THE PACIFIC OCEAN. We will get annihilated by the US Pacific Fleet if we bother them too much. Or if, you know, Cannala gets its dictatorial ducks in a row and steps up their diplomatic game. Which they probably won't.

I'd like to state that due to things Sensei has said, this statement is not entirely true.  He has stated that he will be making things so that allying with the Axis will not cause any late game detriments, and is in fact possibly thinking of ramping that up to the point that all factions will be even in their chance to win the war.  Therefore, the Allies winning the war is not a statement that may be counted upon to be true.

You assume that U.S.A. will join the war. With our support the Japanese might not react to provocation and would never attack Pearl Harbour, it is certianly plausible that they might have secured a significant industrial foundation in China before enterign the war. Suposing, of course, that they actually put any infrastructure into China, which, umm... But regardless, the Unisted States of Amercia is not yet officially part of The Allies, and may never be if we take the pressure off of Japan, which might happen if they play half-decent at politics.

I usually don't vote because of my leak of mechanical/strategic knowledge, but I think that as a pacific island, we can't afford to be on the USA's bad side. As fun as joining the axis/commitern sounds, I think we have to go with the Allies

We have to think realistically here; the cannalans will be more likely to be admitted into the allies due to having committed less hostile actions. Which means we're going to have to either join the comintern or the axis. And I for one think stalin has a horrible moustache so off to Axis we go.
