I really don't think that they're going to be like swarming over us because of the nightvision. It's a 22 pound backpack and scope combo and it's expensive. That doesn't even sound like you could equip a a whole squad with a spotlight and a dozen scopes and have them go raiding, let alone company-level assaults that would be strategically meaningful. It's probably going to be more like what the role was in Vietnam, a device for night defense. Doesn't sound like a disaster to me.

It's no longer Expensive.
And the nightvision has been noted as a major boon for Cannala's jungle fighting efforts more or less ever since they made it.

Night vision is good, yes, but having Cheap radar to go with all our Cheap ships (and even mount it in, say, the Cheap Reckless, if people would be willing to vote for a revision that did both) will be amazing. It might also help the Archers keep those ridiculous Cannalan MTBs away from the fleet.

It was stated the VVF is faster then the 262 after all, and Germany is still being bombed to hell and back. Also would help the Japanese too, maybe they might get the J7W2 or Ki-201, or just use our own aircraft.

Germany is post-Kursk.  Japan is post-Midway and just lost Guadalcanal.  They're both irredeemably doomed but it's probably a bit early to jump off the bandwagon.  The VVF is our most impressive weapon system, and I'm sure Germany would love it to keep the Mighty Eight out of the Ruhr Valley.  Japan's probably too industrially primative to actually field and support the VVF, but they'd at least appreciate the gesture.

Looks like the Radar is going to win, so please allow me to deliver one more attempt to convert people over:
Yes, stealing Cannala's IR isn't pleasant in the least.
Yes, de-[Complex]ifying the radar will almost certainly help us out a bit on all fronts.
But, well... I fear it may not be help enough where it counts most. Cannalan nightvision has been a thorn in our side in the jungle for a long time. It would be good to at least somewhat even the odds there.

I think Japan could field it, just not in many numbers, and it would probably be used only for home defense, like the Type 1 Chi-He. As for what Jilladilla has to say, we can get our own NV next turn, besides while it is a pain, NV only helps us on the ground, as I doubt we will be able to adapt it for air combat use in a single turn, unlike the radar which basically helps everywhere.
