A part of me wants to say that if we're rolling out a new and (unless they're spying on us) unexpected technology we should make sure it's making the biggest splash possible... but to be frank, the more I think about it, the more it is important that we also continue to chip away at their naval advantage, especially because they might by reflex put some work into that front now. I have wanted this before too, considering that our leveraging of our greatest asset has been hindered historically.

Maybe we should roll out the ERA without it's name or maybe under a different one, so Cannalans still don't know what Project Blood Eagle was.

You're sacrificing our culture and national identity for a tiny bit of power.

We could give rocket catapults the same launch rate as steam by improving air filtration and decreasing rocket smoke, and maybe giving the technicians some masks. It would still cost more oil than steam, but that doesn't matter at all because we have so much oil.

Cultural identity should have nothing to do with making our ships the best they can be.

Whats the point of fighting to keep our way of life if we lose our way of life by fighting?

Zheleznogorod Overhaul (PAROI approved)
The excessive smoke produced by the Z's rockets prevents us from rapidly launching planes. So we will modify the rocket fuel formula to produce less smoke, while also improving the lower deck's air filtration system and giving our launch technicians filter masks just in case. This should let our rocket catapults meet the launch speed or a steam catapult.

Additionally, the rope suspension used to store aircraft in the rafters is switched over to modular steel bar mountings, which should prevent the ridiculous problems with aircraft swinging around and damaging themselves during ordinary maneuvers.

How about Project Medic?

And NAV, as the leader of the PAROI Party, I approve the name "Steam-Powered Rocket Catapult" as an acceptable substitute.

You can't just call something that is not at all a rocket a rocket its even more insulting than removing the rocket. I don't care if you're the leader of the Paroi party you just lost any chance of getting reelected to that position.

Why don't we get them off our island, rather than deploying a Complex device to attempt an automagic fix to everything? Wands Race is over, guys, the magic is dead til SMMI gets working on his proposed game.

The Supernova is going to give us night-fighting capability the Cannalans can only DREAM of having.

Blood Eagle probably needs another design to get it functional, we do NOT need more air power right now, we're still winning in the air.

Right now, destroying the Cannalan NV system will obsolete a design of theirs, and lead to us destroying them in nighttime combat.

Probably will also help at sea, until we revise/design night-fighting equipment LIKE A BETTER RADAR. *Ahem*.

Blind their IR, give our fleets some better night battle capability, maybe help out general night-ops? Yup, has my vote. Blood Eagle is great and all... But it is mostly functional at the moment, although I disagree with Madman's opinion of it needing a design to get right.

I'd rather vote for the Saltgrinder to be honest, but that has no support at the moment..
