I am convinced A is best as well, but I was left alone voting on it.

I switched to C only to prevent the cannon or double-decker from winning.

I switched to Z only to prevent wooden deck from winning.

Orrrr you could vote for the option without all this angled ski jump takeoff uncertainty. Seriously, the Z carrier was operational in the interwar years. The only reason it was obsoleted was because of insufficiently powerful catapults, but we're Forenia, we can Put A Rocket On It.

Come oooon, Gunin!  Make the pattern C a steel deck.  It's future-proofing, and steel decks are useful.  Just look at Midway!

Or just vote for the cannon instead. It's going to definitely be useful too.

Look, steel is armour. Armour is heavy. Heavy is bad. Our fighters are good. Good is better than bad. Thus, NO STEEL DECKS. It is Known.

We better spend the revision stripping the armor off our tanks and trashing all our tiger armor, then.

Clearly the reason people hate the idea of having armor is because our men have a previously-unknown steel allergy.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

Steel is not automatically armor.  Steel deck doesn't have to mean armored deck.

FOR THE LAST TIME! Do you, people who are saying that a "steel deck is an armored deck" know the difference between armor and metallic construction?

Armor is meant to protect against something. A steel construction is used to add strength so that more weight or whatever can be added without straining thing. A steel deck won't catch fire or be blown away by jet exhaust, and isn't necessarily much heavier than wood and is certainly not "armored".

Oh, and no one has even mentioned armoured flight decks, so it'd be appreciated if you could stop arguing against it.
Yes they have. There's no need to get sassy.

The deck is made of steel rather than wood, in order to withstand the forces a jet aircraft would put on it.
That's an armored deck.

It would seem the designer disagrees with all of you. No steel!

Also, I forgot to put a /s in front of my earlier post, sorry :(

Disagrees in what way? By being wrong? An armored deck is NOT a steel deck, though it is usually made out of steel. If I made a deck out of 2.5mm plate of stainless steel, IS THAT ARMOR? Not really, no, it won't stop anything.
If I make it out of 8 inches of rolled homogeneous armor (RHA, common naval armor steel) and include a splinter deck beneath it, THAT is armor.
