Germany doesn't need more artillery, not with the upcoming blitzkrieg. May as well give them the dolphin so the luftwaffe can be that much more effective against the royal navy.

Maybe someday we can get naval cruise missiles or something.

The FW 190 is already a remarkably heavily armed aircraft.  The Haast is redundant.

Also, long-range rocket artillery would be well-met by the Germans, since they dont invent the V1 buzzbomb until next year.

The germans also have larger howitzers than what we have so again the rocket artillery is redundant. The Fw 190 is an fighter compared to the Haast's ground attack role, though the Haast will perform better against the royal navy due to it's twin torpedo load. The germans will need a capable air dropped torpedo design though.

The FW 190 has a ton of guns and hardpoints for dropping bombs and rockets.  It's a pretty decent ground attacker, though they do have better planes for tank-busting.

The dolphin is a good idea, though.

There is also Italy who don't have decent tanks but somewhat good ships.

Well, japan never sent the germans their air-launched torpedoes. And italy hasn't joined the fight yet.

We're going to lose like this. We can't revise ERA---we'll get the exact same difficulty as last time. It's in the game rules. So, we'd need a design. Instead, let's get our air advantage back. We should win at sea---our air general ought to turn fighters deadlier than theirs into absolute killing machines. But if we give ground in our air advantage, even to a stupidly better carrier (How'd they get this in one turn??? Was one of their previous hidden developments this thing?) we won't have the chance to get it back. We made our choice---we're using air power. So we either keep our advantage or concede the game now.

How about this - we build rocket artillery now, use it to hold the mountains, plains, and secure the jungle.  Sell Germany the Dolphin for a Research Credit.  Next turn, burn the Credit designing a full-blown jet.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

It is way to early to go for a jet fighter and hope to get one that can compete with piston engine aircrafts after one action even with 6. It is a long term investment and we are not in the position to go there.
