The NFPP is committed to ensuring that free speech is still respected. Just don't cry if we laugh and call what you are saying stupid :P

Cool, Axis it is.

eS, sorry for making you feel so conflicted (if that's the right word for it). I realize that, morally, the Axis is the wrong descision, but I tend to think of it as "it's a game, it's ok to be scum". Like in Skyrim, when I'm a thief/assassin/murderer/demon worshipper/werewolf/general dickhead

BREAKING NEWS: Forenian Socialist Party goes underground!

Following a late-breaking decision by Parliament to seek joining the Axis Powers, the Forenian Socialist Party has announced it will be going underground, with its leaders going into hiding and future party communication and newsletters delivered by secret courier. A high-ranking member of the FSP, former Arstotzkan sniper Petyr Tavish, remarked "It is shameful to see that the Forenian people would rather ally with that league of deluded madman instead of joining the Comintern. For the Party's continued existence and the safety of our members, we are going underground. The People's Revolution WILL come! When the time is right, of course."

Further inquires, along with the fact that the Socialist Party is not yet outlawed, were rebuffed. Later in the afternoon, party members were seen shifting furniture from the party headquarters on Rostock Road into the subterranean tunnels near the harbour, perhaps taking "going underground" far too literally.

There is absolutely no way to have a cluster bomb and not maim small children in fifty years time. Oh, I just had a great idea for a revision! Firecroakers. 1 in 50 firecrackers is rigged to not detonate on landing, but to instead arm on landing and detonate upon being disturbed. That way it will blow up valuable bomb-clearing technicians and increase the area-denial!

If anyone can be bothered to, they can move my vote to the RPG, or tank. I am too lazy to research stuff and people seem to have reason to believe that the cluster bombs are redundant.

You know, if we give Hitler our racecar, we probably win regardless of anything else...

They haven't done any of that yet, so it's not like Forenian politicians could argue against joining the Axis on that basis. The only mark against them is their warmongering, and we... don't have a lot of room to judge there.

Alright, I'm declaring a moratorium on discussing any historical events which haven't happened yet. It's 1939, the nuclear bomb seems like science fiction if you've even heard of the idea, and the Holocaust has hardly started, most of the world would rather leave Germany to do whatever they're doing than intervene.

Of course we can judge!
They ended their last war in 1918 and then had peace for how much? 20 years?
bah. 20 years without a proper war. weaklings.

That wasn't meant to be IC discussion, at least from me.

THE FORENIAN COURIER: for all your news needs.
NFPP CLAIMS VICTORY IN HEATED ELECTION, ENTERS TALKS WITH SPF
After last month's devastating parliament house fire (in which rumours claim was started by a tank), the NFPP has claimed an astonishing 46 seats in the snap election organised to replace the loss of almost all of the currently sitting MPs. Citing weariness over the UFP's inactivity and the destructiveness of both the arstotzkan and moskurgan nationalist parties as the reasons to the sudden landslide in votes.

However, while such a landslide victory gives them a major position, it lacks the seats to form an absolute majority. Negotiations were planned to start with the SPF before the latter's move into the harbourside tunnels in the capital dashed the efforts. Switching their attentions to the moderate faction of the SPF that has split off into the Forenian Worker's party, the negotiations are likely to last until the end of autumn.

CIVIL DEFENCE BRIGADE NAME CHANGED TO FORENIAN SENTINEL GROUP
Earlier today the CDB's leadership unanimously voted to change the organisation's name in light of the NFPP's sudden electoral win. Already riding the electoral win with the new influx of funding and the formation of a youth branch, the FSG has secured a number of military surplus weapons and vehicles and is set to expand it's strength considerably in conjunction with the NFPP's expansion of the government social programmes.
