Sorry about the lack of post yesterday, spent it driving down to arizona and getting set up for a clinical rotation down here.
Bang: You realize that you're asking to handle 3 completely separate things that would each probably take a turn right? You wanna talk to this guy, look at the bounty board and open a door across town all at once? Well, I'll assume you do this in reverse order; [10v3] You kick the door open for Prism, return to the board and see that the creature apparently hangs out near Kaolin and other high mountain areas.
You then turn on your stalker and yell "THE HELL DO YOU WANT?!"
Prism: You walk through the door that Bang kicked in and find a dark stone staircase that seems to spiral slowly downward. You announce your intentions and get no response. The charm shows that the spirit is slightly further forward and quite a bit down.
Aurum: Good thing you did that otherwise I'd have to throw a GM brick at Bang. You find a line of ants and catch several of them.
Jian: [5v5] It takes you several hours of searching, but you finally manage to find a pack of trihorns to the west of your holes. However, you've moved about 2 miles away from the holes at this point. Driving them perfectly back to those holes without them diverging is probably gonna be damn difficult. At least without prep or planning or something.
Zamia, Zoh, and Zachery head off with the hunters. The first part of the hunt is just to get up to where the creature has been attacking. Its a short while up the river, past town and around near the west pointing bend. It still takes the entire day to get there though trudging through thick forest, avoiding local animals, and making sure to remain downwind and quiet. Eventually, the group comes across what is undoubtedly the remains of a recent attack: The shore is littered with bits of wood and rope, smashed cargo, and other flotsam. There are bodies as well, or parts of them, already covered in maggots and clearly preyed upon by animals. The Hunting party's leader decides to make camp near here, pushed back away from the river enough to hopefully avoid detection of animals but also to keep an eye on any events. His plan is to wait for another merchant ship and to simply see what happens.
Zackarine continues north. The ruins are four days from the base, and the town of Molybdaena is 6 days away, with two of those days being a harsh march across the wastes with no water or food to be found. She, we'll assume, gathers some water before she leaves. The first day of walking goes fine. On the second, somewhere near the edge of the Alizarin Plains, she runs into trouble. Its evening and she's setting up camp for the night when she hears something rustling in the tall grass nearby, just outside of the light cast by her camp fire.
Zrell is still following the weirdo when said weirdo suddenly spins round, walks straight up into Zrell's face and screams "THE HELL DO YOU WANT?!"
Zruril: Here's a question I have for you, Whats your nationality? Where in this kingodm do you come from, originally? Because it will change how the locals view you.
Ma'o: You get the rope undone and wrap it back up before continuing on towards Glucinum. You make it there around nightfall and stumble to the nearest inn for help. The inn keeper sends for a doctor, but the doctor asks for money before he treats you.
Xod and Brine [2+4v5] put their relatively pathetic muscles together and mange to push and pull the zeplin up and out of the pit. As per Xod's looking for resources, I assume you mean things that would break down into lots of thaum right? There's not a whole lot on here that is really that rare. You'd get some thaum from the materials as a whole, particularly the silk used in the balloon, but not a lot.
Hamber and Yng eat some fish while Hamber converts some of Yng's gold to Thaulm. He gets 4 mana worth of Thaum out of it.
He tells you that if you wanna see it, you can look at it through the glass.
He says its not for sale, its a memento of his "Big Haul"
He sighs and tells you he sold them off to multiple buyers. Mostly Traders from Alkahest or "some other town 'round the ring".
He says the usual haul is no where near as rich as those tablets, but they get all matter of ancient junk and relics. As per where thy come from, he says He's almost certain they're from the caves below. Says this entire place is riddled with caves and that the river here sucks stuff out from below all the time.
Eclair does some Jojo Shit in the background.
You ask the captian for a bit of money for your work and he decides to give you some. Its a pitance, 3 silver a day, but enough to get you a candle.
The boat stops for quite a while in Mofette and you spend you time searching the copious grain fields, barns and silos for rat kings. You find plenty of rats and even make a few silver killing them for farmers, but no rat kings. Its only on your way towards Ulmin that you realize you might just be able to MAKE a rat king.
(your journey has netted you 15 silver so far, which is 3 gold.)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rat_king Nina: One of the people answers for you. "We aren't here to go under the waves!" its a rather high pitch and high strung woman, "We're here to ask the monkfish for blessings! The church of the divine slime has blessed us with bountiful fish for generations."
