Kenta chuckles to himself.
"Well Levis-San, this probably sounds dumb... because it is pretty dumb in hindsight... but it could just be that we're from more advanced era than you. Or wherever you come from isn't as advanced.

"That must be pretty far though. Like, at least across the ocean or something, right?"

"Well, from my understanding it doesn't have to be. Like imagine that dimensions are rooms in a house. Just because you can't enter another room without a door to use doesn't mean it's
very far right?"
Kenta gestures with his pipe as he explains. Levis might suddenly be distracted by the fact that Kenta is wearing a mask while he smokes. Does he have a hole in it for the pipe or something? Or is he just sucking on his mask?

"So is that what dimensions are, then? Rooms in a house, all kinda connected but, um... You'd need to break down a wall to get to them, or something like that? And if you don't you're just stuck in your own room."
Levis seems very interested in the conversation now, and ignores the impossibility of Kenta's smoking habits. Why did he even focus on that, anyway?

Kenta nods.
"Exactly. Of course, you're forgetting an important possibility. If the dimensions are rooms that means that logically someone can open the door."

Annabelle interjects after Kenta's comment about opening doors.
"And I, am one of those people who has successfully opened one of those doors."

"Ah, is that impressive or something? Sorry, but all this is pretty new to me, so I don't know how hard opening these doors might be..."
Levis rubs the back of his head awkwardly.

"Imagine there being about a dozen locks you have to pick your way through, but if you screw up on one, all of the locks reset even if you've already unlocked them."
Annabelle nods, this was reasonable acceptable for an analogy, in her opinion.

Timeskip
With the weapon acquired and questions to be asked- both about their enemies and about their friends-, the parties make their ways back to Mircea's palace. The people at the Halls of Harmony are eventually directed there by locals from the village, who find their lack of faith when asked disturbing.

A concerned Ophelia is waiting by the door as the groups make their way back.

Kenta stretches as he approaches Ophelia, his gaze occasionally shifting to Nobunga in confusion.
"I presume that this is where people from out of the dimension are supposed to go?"

"I suppose you are Champions, yes? If so, then yes, this is our dwelling for the meantime."

Annabelle takes in whatever her eyes can feast upon, smiling the whole way.
"What exactly does being a Champion entail? I don't think that was ever explained to me."

"In short, you are here to defend the integrity of all your worlds. The being that summoned us all, Harmony, has summoned us to maintain the balance against the being called Discord, who intends to destroy the balance that, if he succeeds, will ensure the doom of both this world and all of yours."

Kenta raises his eyebrows before shrugging, his expression turning neutral again.
"Oh... I think you picked the wrong person to solve this incident but I guess that's us."

"Well uh... I suppose we can do that, yeah. So these are divine entities, I would assume?"
Annabelle seems to be taking this extremely well, for someone just thrown into this.
