Celebritybro is honestly kind of a bloodthirsty cunt

I think that is on purpose.

This is a "He who slays 1000 demons becomes one" story.

Especially if, y'know, you spend a lot of time wearing The One Ring.

But in this one you spend time wearing That Other Ring. ;)

The Second One Ring is very fitting in my opinion.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

They're Olog-Hai. Related to Cave Trolls and other trolls but not quite full, free-ranged raised trolls.

Also Celebrimbro says stuff like "Forward!" and "No Mercy!" from what I've heard. But yeah it's difficult to hear it over the din.

I did catch the "No Mercy". Geez Celebrimbor, don't you want them alive so you can brand them?

We can only hope Talion is a moderating influence. Maybe.

What, the guy who had his family ritually sacrificed in front of him? Nah, think he is pretty angry too.

Introducing the Nemesis Forge, a "game mode" in Shadow of Mordor where you can enter your current save with all abilities unlocked and battle Uruks until you find an ultimate Nemesis and ultimate Follower to copy to Shadow of War when it's released.

That's so rad. That's exactly the kind of sandbox stuff the game needs to keep it going. Gets so tedious trying to make a Nemesis with all the shit going on, or that can potentially go wrong (like them getting killed by a dominated ork grunt, which happened all the fucking time in SoM.)

Hoping something like that shows up in SoW as well. Or maybe that's what pit fights are angling at.

Should be interesting. Guess I might have to run an update for SoM, then.

I'm reasonably sure that my current SoM save has every single captain and warchief dead, so it would have to spawn some dudes first...

I wanted to do that, I just got bored along the way.

Weeelp, looks like I'll have to boot the ol' thing up and see who it thinks my nemesis is. And my "most trusted follower", for that matter...

Honestly didn't do much branding of captains past what I needed to do for the story. Way more satisfying to behead, IMO. :D

Holy Christ they REALLY REALLY REALLY want you to play the original game.

They kept putting it on huge sales prior to the Steam sale. Then it was on sale during the sale itself. And now right after the sale it's on a giant sale again.

And now there's a mf-ing free weekend.

What.

People who passed the first game up may become interested in purchasing the sequel.

Same here. I never had "that one guy" that my friends (and an LPer I watch) had that was a constant thorn in their side. I'm half tempted to just start fresh in SoW (unless there's some kind of thing I'd miss out on) just so that it can generate new orcs with new abilities for me instead of having to use legacy feats and skills.

E: Sidenote, I hope that they let you use PS4 button prompts on the computer, most of my 'stupid death' moments were from pressing X instead of Square.
