I'm fine with the totals you gave me, though now I need to figure out whether to get a skill or up a die. Hmm.

@Lorknis: No worries, dude. You didn't miss too much; we got on the boat and are heading home.

Aye, that's good to hear. I was only slightly worried about a TPK due to unforeseen doom and gloom or bad rolls. Also did anyone ever claim those fancy items from the loot n' scoot or is our liege getting them all?

I'm under the impression they were converted to coins, which was then converted to shared EXP.

Fair enough then. Now to wait for the GM to assign myself some EXP and hopefully we'll get to explore our home for some R&R and equipment upgrades.

Skjaere was  tired of  burning. The village was at their mercy, the population scared out of their minds. There was no reason to kill them. What's more, Sihylde had disobeyed the captain on her quest for blood. Crom  was a god of war, not  butchery, and what  happened here was  most certainly the latter.  Though, like it or not, that was in the past, and Skjaere  had plans for the present. Making his way past the grunting oarsmen, he made his way to the hold, where the captives were kept.  Making his way past the  sullen guardsman, Skjaere  finally stopped at the huddled group of 10 monks. After exchanging a few brief words with the jailer, a monk was pulled from amongst his fellows, mumbling something under his breath.  “The Ministration of Protection?” The monk looked up, surprise blossoming in his eyes. He seemed to be in shock that a Northman knew the prayers of the Nameless God. In truth, Skjaere could hardly forget it.  His mother had said that prayer on a weekly, if not daily basis, always clutching a small metal cross. It was one of her few keepsakes from her homeland, and one of the few  posessions she kept as a thrall. Skjaere smiled, and held out a mug. "Drink?"

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

2. Did you express something new about your character or your background?

Einar took up the role of Acting Captain not for glory but to try to look out for the rest of the raiding team. The fact Jora indirectly undermined him by calling up dark spirits and Sihylde directly undermined him by ignoring his orders don't count. :P
W-well I-! Hmph! :P

Quote
3. +2 for sure, you manipulated a whole bunch of people's whose homes you just burned down into being okay with it
I feel bad about it but it made everyone feel better and then coincidentally an evil spirit did actually exist ._.
Ahaaaa :-[

Also I didn't know #5 meant [good rolls = kickin' butt] :P I thought 'if you would give feedback on your character, do you think they actually did well?' and I was reluctant to actually say yes.

Also yaaaay, 20 experience (adding this in)
...Goodness you and your nice trait ideas :I I've been thinking of saving exp for more rolls, but goodness do I want to be a healer and either a rune priest (so I can do NICE sacrifices instead :I) or a spirit speaker.

Ehh, totally inspired by Alette @Banner Saga.
Jora gains 2 traits!
-> Spirit Speaker
-> Healing Arts

Also may I suggest the secondary characters being involved in battles, but giving a +1 to ONE out of the three rolls if possible? Also having their fair share of wounds and such if it's not too much? :> Even a sentence of acknowledgement of them in the battle helps, as they can be suggesting ideas or giving plans but letting the initiative be taken by the main 4? (Seriously in my eyes, they're just as important; like Sam to Frodo, in Lord of the Rings ♥)

Aaaand I'll make the post-2nd-village post later on. Gotta earn exp! By...adding more RP here!

As a matter of fact, my initial idea for Skjaere  was "saner, shaved Tryggvi."

Heey, I loved his 'sanity' :P It was actually developer hints and clues! And I never knew he was a former kragsman. X3

Ahem, otherwise, I love that you're my second ♥ You're the guy who can stab folks away!

Also I'll add to this to help with details, since I loved re-reading the story from imagination, via multiple perspectives. My comments are in orange.

That said, that was a nice prologue to get people into the gist of the mechanics of the game.

...I bet now, we'll be worried to ration our Fate points in the future since we're entering the curve of DOOM (return to the North! version)

I'm under the impression they were converted to coins, which was then converted to shared EXP.
Doubt we've converted the useable stuff though--the misc items, maybe (the cross could be kept to help prisoner morale, for example?), but I believe someone would be well off in using that gilded great sword. In the least, as a mention of status or something.

RP wise, it would make sense to  give the sword to the current Captain. Also, do secondary characters fill out the question sheet?

Double posting because it seems chubby2man nicely quotes everything. :P
Here's a secondary character sheets you can add in the OP!

I'm guessing you're like the backup dudes to us 4, so yeah! :P People can retire their characters if they're going to be busy too. Just do it for more flavor, I say, it won't clutter the thread anyway. :)

Sadly, Captain Einar isn't a swordmang so I'm alright with him deciding who gets what. I'll edit in a little story in a moment.

Maybe we can bargain with our thane that way and save some coins. I'd love that, personally! (because he's a fancy dude to send these nice people as Vikings) :P

Really? I always thought he had a swor- *checks OP*
Oh wow, we've an axeman, an archer, a hammer warrior, and you being our only swordsman (and a spearman/swordsman as backup)
Good point! We should also shove our Thane the cloak and bargain to keep our 1/3 share to either spread to our morale (1 coin per soldier? :3) or spend for better equipment or stuff!
