After some deliberation, you decide on your course of action - severing the head of this problem. Making the noble a Flameless would hopefully allow you to effectively stop the problem. Sure, it may not have the moral high-ground, but he is trespassing after all. First, you recall your observations of the Flameless convict. If your assumptions are correct, then yes. A Flameless should have no true ambition. Though "ambition" is hard to define in this case. Is it wanting a bed? A house? Power? Where does it end?
Regardless, a Flameless shouldn't be plotting to rise up in power any time soon. Hopefully.
With this in mind, you pack some essential goods before meditating (and regaining 3 mana). In the morning you leave for the Noble's camp. The journey's fairly uneventful. After the trip up the canyon home to the entrance to Silverhall, you begin the second multiple-hour portion of your journey.
Eventually, the tents and soldiers come into sight. You continue walking until reaching the camp boundaries and request a meeting with the noble.
You approach the tent along with a soldier escort, but are stopped before you can enter it. From inside the noble's tent you're able to make out some muffled voices.
"What do you mean, 'they're getting food'?! We're sieging them!"
...
"Okay, rally the troops! We're going to be taking this head-on!"
Suddenly, the human bursts out of his tent with sufficient dramatic flair. As he's about to march into the center of the camp, he stops with a double-take and stares at you.
"Dwarf! Er, Kar-Cazot! You're here! I don't suppose you'd be willing to join us for our assault on the city? You'd get a significant portion of our spoils and all the glory!"
This throws a minor wrench into your plans. What now?
