I actually reread it yesterday, because I obviously don't have enough procrastination in my routine already. It was really confusing for the players, and I was a bit of a dickhead + made really really bad corny jokes. Plus slightly unbalanced. Did I mention it was confusing for the players? It was confusing reading it, too.

Psh, I helped make some of those jokes. I stopped being able to figure it out once the genies showed up, though...

IIRC, it turned out Flabort's secondary-role-factory was really powerful (it was a secondary role factory, after all... plus the limits were vauge), so I implemented a negative feedback loop. Flabort didn't get the memo and eventually ended up in a dire situation. There was also a velociraptor which became a Shakerag after eating Vector and her role transferred to it. Which was then lynched. In the end, time paradox stuff happened, and it ended without exact resolution. To be honest, I was mostly winging it at the end...

I'm 95% that we started at jokes on Shakerag's name and then blew it up from there. Some of our jokes were so bad and corny that they were banned from use.

But yeah, defined rulesets are mostly good. You can leave a little leeway for extra fun, but typically that's well contained fun with very little effect on the game.
