I did notice, I still don't like it very much. Basically, permanence is a pain in the backside. If you really want Elemal-based spells, then pick one Elemal and stick to that one and wait for the next skill drop to get some more.

Uh, to be more clear, the development of the Elemal completely external to the levelling system is problematic to say the least. You could just take a passive that raise the power of a specific Elemal and then with each level up take more be it to empower an already boosted one in new ways or just empowering a new one.

Work on a potential forum game for my return to Bay12. Figure out parts that puzzled me before. Find more things to figure out that I can't. Work on another game instead of solving them. Get distracted and stop working. Remember it a week or two later. Remember I'm still on hiatus. Illogically, Be too ashamed to return yet. Repeat ad nauseam.

Finally have a game completely ready. Wait a week before posting it out of laziness.

Is the deadline on Friday or can we submit a sheet on the 21st and have it count? Not that I have an idea for a sheet but if inspiration strikes...

Already pre-approved. Please spoiler your sheet (and just link the image from elsewhere). Also, your supers are still restricted by Will use anyway, so there is no need for you to impose a limit on it.

It would be helpful in future if the players remember this is a cooperative arena game, which means it would be preferable if people used characters who would at least cooperate with the others. I am not naming any names, I would just like to avoid an issue that has plagued similar games to this before I have to clamp down more harshly.

I was under the impression that the game was a roleplaying adventure type thing based on the original Bellum Aeternus game that you linked to. Could you please explain precisely what an "arena" game is? I am not familiar with the terminology.

The arena part is irrelevant. The part I'd like to emphasise is the 'cooperative' part.

Arena likely means specifically that there will be somewhat structured combat encounters in addition to the roleplay, hence the stat system. The cooperative part is important - the characters are in a group, and are supposed to work together rather than go off on their own or antagonize each other.
