I might move this to the Roll to Dodge subforum in the future, but it's fine here. Right?

Mind if I join?
Like what are the rules and stuff?
Edit:
Nvm I sort of figured the rules out on my own. Not entirely clear on the exact rules of combat, but that doesn't matter.

Question. Why did you specify what mud looks like and incorporate mud-proof units when there are no mud tiles on the map?

Important for everyone to read

The rules are as follows.
  • You pick a side. If you're the second player to enter, there aren't many choices at the moment. More sides may be added later.
  • Every turn has 3 phases.
  • In the purchase phase, you buy units. I roll movement for your units.
  • In the movement phase, you can move units based on their movement rolls. For instance, if you get a 2, you can move a unit 2 tiles in any direction.
  • In the combat phase, you attack enemies with your units. Both you and your enemy's unit will roll for attack and defense. If you roll a 3 for attack and your opponent rolls a 2 for defense, you deal 1 damage. If your opponent then rolls a 3 for attack and you roll a 5 for defense, you take no damage.
  • You win when you defeat the enemy's generals (the two units they start with) or when you destroy their base.

Question. Why did you specify what mud looks like and incorporate mud-proof units when there are no mud tiles on the map?

To be completely honest, I haven't the slightest idea.

Indeed you can. The Light side specializes in the use of defensive units coupled with slow advancement to gradually push their enemy back to their base. What they lack in power, they make up in versatility and endurance.
I'd like to join the Dark team, please.
Wonderful! The Darkness uses offensive rushes from multiple sides to crush initial resistance, taking advantage of the immunity of Sentries to the bloated to create a squad of suicide bombers. While their starting units aren't the best, their late game creatures are immensely powerful when used right.

I'm going to cap the maximum amount of units you can have at 12. We'll see how this works out.

Phase 1 of Turn 1 has begun.

I choose to purchase...

Nothing.

I think we can only move in the Movement phase. Right now it's the Purchase phase; the reason he already rolled for movement is so that we can't move newly purchased units.

You use the blood that pulses through the Resonance, this ethereal plane upon which you battle, and shape it into an engineer. You promptly plop them on the battlefield to die.

You watch as your blood accrues, and your opponent makes their move.

Phase 2 of turn 1! (unless you're johiah, because you already specified where to move)

I choose to move the Lake Spirit three tiles south, and the Blacksteel Sentinel one tile SE.

hey wait a minute! Don't you need a Level 2 base to spawn an Engineer?

Oh my god you are right

The engineer spontaneously combusts, and his blood returns to johiah. Perhaps next turn he can make something with it. He reforms it into a wolf knight.

New map!
