Universarium [SGish]
« on: April 05, 2017, 08:31:01 pm »

Your universe is small, freshly created, and only distinguishable from the Void by its meager edges. You have formed within in, spontaneously by design. You are one of many fledgling godlings, concepts given ethereal form. A new pantheon for a new universe. Roboson the Impartial, God of Democracy, has been sent to guide you in the creation and maintenance of the universarium you now rule. Through discourse and discussion, you will shape this new place into the crown gem of the multiverse.

The rules of the Universarium Council are very simple. To join, a deity only need to simply state your Name, your Sphere/Emphasis, and describe your Shape. Once several have joined the Council, we will begin to vote upon proposals that will effect the world. Each proposal only needs +2 total votes, however any god in opposition of a vote may -1 it. Removing something implimented by another god requires a +3, and removing something that was added as a special event requires a +4 (after accounting for negative votes).

The Universarium is small at the moment, only large enough for a single planet and single star. The first order of business is to describe these and vote upon the proposals.

Name: Pero-Hesto
Sphere: Magic
Shape: A figure wearing cloak, top hat, and wooden staff that curls around a purple gem at its top. The being under the form changes shape and appearance frequently, occasionally just being a shifting, vaguely humanoid shape. Part of his subconciousness takes the form of a cat that always follows him. Like how his form changes, the cat's color can also change.

"That counts as several, right? Anyways."

Proposal 1.1: Proposal Naming: Proposals will be named in the following format: Proposal [Next Tick Number].[What Number This Proposal Is]: [Proposal Title]:

Proposal 1.2: Combined Sun: The sun's baseline attributes are that of Sol, but each god may make one minor change to it. Any change made in this way may be vetoed by any other god.

Proposal 1.3: Combined Earth: The planet's baseline attributes are that of Earth, but each god may make one moderate change to it. Any change made in this way may be vetoed by any other god.

+1 to all 3. If .2 and .3 are agreed to, I shalt make the Sun, and, to a lesser degree, its light, a focus for Fire- and Light-based magic, and the planet has high amounts of Mana flowing through it.

Proposal 1.1.1: Additionally, Proposals must be Bolded while the text immediately before and after it must not be bolded. Additionally, extensions to proposals can be made, being labeled like the base Proposal except for having a .N added, where N is the number of the extension. Extensions do not need to be titled, but they can be. Votes for just for the base proposal, no modifications, name, where X, Y, and Z are the numbers in the proposal, X.Y.0:, while votes for the proposal in general are just X.Y:.

Proposal 1.4: Foundation of Magic- Basic Mana: Mana is the ever-present force of Magic found naturally in all things to some degree, and (most, if not) all living beings require some minute amount of magic to survive. Mana often has an element, such as Fire, Wood, or Metal, and while some Magic is elementless, described as Clear Mana, the most naturally-occurring form of Mana, Raw Mana, has a balance between all elements and no elements. More complex elements of Mana, such as Cosmic, Wild, Order, Chaos, Psy, etc. do not exist yet, though interactions between Mana in certain pattens may cause it to be present both in nature in certain areas, artificially induces, and briefly synthesized when Magic is cast.

Pero stops for a moment to catch his breath, not realizing the cat sitting behind him, curious to what he says. It seems..pleased.

XeleleX vibrates, and from its body three perfectly synchronized voices speak.

"Greetings All. XeleleX is my name. Three Pointed is my form, it is known. What of our creation? It is of Emptiness, this should change."

"That counts as several, right? Anyways."

"I support. It is good."

"Triangular Pyramid, has Triangular bottom. Four sides, each is Triangular in shape and form. Taken as one, four combine into quadruple Triangle, united. Pyramid is not one, but many, in total symmetry, all of shape is pleasing to behold. Personal preference, nothing more, nothing less.

Creation is empty, infinite potential. So many choices so little space, Pero-Hesto's decision is good, but total, it stifles space wrongly. If it lacked totality it would be better. XeleleX has spoken."

Another other input? As it stands 1.1-1.3 will pass. No one has voted on 1.4. (1.1.1 passes by default unless there is opposition because I like the order/structure it brings).

With his metal anvils scraping against eachother, Gintor turns to face the group. A raspy, almost metallic voice emanates from him. "I agree with proposal 1.4."
"Further more, I propose a new proposal:"
Proposal 1.5: Elementals. Creatures created by us to do our will. Such as maintain an area or guard something. This proposal is null if proposal 1.4 does not pass, as elementals need mana to be created and maintained.

"An interesting idea, surely, but 'elementals' would insinuate being primarily of an existing element. Perhaps another name would do better, such as...say, Avatars, or maybe...hmmmm...retainers? No..."

Pero stops talking for a moment, his vague hand scratching at his head.

"..How about..deities? It may be sorta stereotypical, or whatever the word is, but it fits".

"Fine fine. Deities."
Proposal 1.5.1: Deities. Creatures created by us to do our will. Such as maintain an area or guard something. This proposal is null if proposal 1.4 does not pass, as deities need mana to be created and maintained.
