Sure, down it is. Keep on the watch for any potentially dangerous elements and enemies, or locations where those may be.
"Remember to use deflect heat if that becomes an issue, Ard. And Chasme, sorry, but you've been outvoted. Think of it this way: are you more likely to find the good stuff at the entrance of a dragon's den, or at the heart of it?"

Does the shiv-shaped hunk of iron count as a weapon?

Glass is, as usual, correct.
Yep, as ever, I bestow upon Glass the expected +1
I'm gonna say we go with whatever Glass's idea is.

Gary looks a little worried by Jacob's metaphor.

"I, uh, tuned out a minute thinking of what's ahead. What's this about an, uh, dragon?"

"Exapmles involving likelihood of treasure. There is, as of yet, no proof for or against the presence of any quantity of dragons in this mountain."

"But what you're saying is that there might, uh, be some dragons here? Possibly?"

"There is always a chance of dragons. There is every possibility every morning that you woke up every day of your life that a dragons would have been staring down at you. As far as I am aware, that never happened.
I will not say that there can't be a dragon here, as fate would immediately intervene to prove me wrong. However, it is unlikely that we should encounter one before we have any variety of chance at surviving the attack."

Gary nods, taking all this in.

He suddenly strikes an elaborate pose in an attempt to look sophisticated, and begins to shout;

"Dragons and treasure!

Well, let's strike a deal, then! You can have all of the dragons, and I shall take all of the treasure! A fine bargain, I assume, for such peasantry!

The implications of the threat are wasted on Gary.

"Uh, not particularly. I can't quite live without my head.

Besides, this beautiful face should remain attached to this flawless body forever.

Turn 4: Downward Bound

After a vote of 4 to 1 for going down, immediately followed by a brief discussion on dragons, loot, and Gary's mental capacity, the group approaches the pitch-black staircase and proceeds into the depths. The varied sounds of bubbling lava and shifting stone increase until the staircase ends at a huge cave carved into the obsidian, glowing cracks in the floor revealing the molten rock beneath.

There is a single tunnel across the cave, which would be easily reachable if it weren't for the massive, sleeping creature blocking it. It is a monstrous, bear-sized amalgamation of molten rock and boulders, jagged teeth, and claws. It stirs slightly once the group arrives, but does not awaken.

"...it ain't waking up. Let's be going up. I'd like to see my options before trying to kill this thing.

Unless, of course, you'd like to try kill bears or seduce elemental on the beast?

...yeah, seduce elemental sounds right. That thing is an elemental, aye?"

"I'm surprised the Lava Elemental isn't seducing ME, considering how HOT it is."

"..."

"Yeah, I'll just go and cast the spell already."

I cast SEDUCE ELEMENTAL!

Work on a potential forum game for my return to Bay12. Figure out parts that puzzled me before. Find more things to figure out that I can't. Work on another game instead of solving them. Get distracted and stop working. Remember it a week or two later. Remember I'm still on hiatus. Illogically, Be too ashamed to return yet. Repeat ad nauseam.

Finally have a game completely ready. Wait a week before posting it out of laziness.

"How quant, a creature that is sentient just because of the raw mana of this place!, This must mean their will be more extraordinarily entities and especially important valuable resources, the deeper we go"
Ardelion prepares a casting of Blast of Ice, after Ae-Hale either succeed or fails from his Elemental Seduction, he will launch his ball of ice. Of course, this is assuming he is successful at dem magicks

Gary wisely maintains distance from the opponent.

"That isn't a bear, so I'll let you fellows handle this one. I'll patch you up if you get bulldozed!"
