If you don't know what Discord is, it is a simple chat app, that can run in the browser or standalone, as well as on Android and iOS.
It also has voice chat, if anyone is interested.

The server was started by Maks in 2016, and they made a thread about it.
After an additional ownership change late 2017, I took over, and we currently have an active mod team and a healthy community.

We have both DF-related channels and several off topic chats, with discussions about just about everything. We also have a few succession games.

The discord is full of like minded df players who come here to coordinate in real time for succession games, or just a place to share your art of that cool fb you once had eat your entire fort, or a place to just chill and have some fun talking about whatever.

Right now it is just a legitimacy fight.

People are leaving and making their own chat because of what went on in this one and this is seen as a attack. So in order de-legitimize them they are harassing the other chat.

It happens and I don't blame the people here for it. You can't control everyone.

It is why I know the other topic is on borrowed time. Too many people know the trick to getting threads shut down by Toady.
