While not yet panicked, the Wastelander bandits certainly have the wind taken out of their sails. They struggle to fight back against the convict party as the armored soldiers blocking the road move up to try and flank.

Zelda flies over to where Edmund lies on the ground bleeding.

Her muscles were old and rusty, but they still carried the memory of a warrior youth. An arrow caught her shoulder, but she ignored the damage in favor of dodging the incoming sword and striking back with a tremendous blow to the side of the head.

A halberdier attacked as the swordsman fell, and she turned his weapon aside with her free hand before returning a pair of strikes to his right ribs and left shoulder.

"Try again!"
