It pretty much needs to be a human to be honest.

(Yeah, there's always a human in a crew.)

Yep. It works.  I don't get the reference though.
Handyman? Red Green? PBS?

Oh! I see now...

I can be an idiot at times...
For those uninitiated some Handyman Corner segments:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxYe26CIvuY

An, here's the official Red Green Show Youtube page where you can watch Every episode and segment for free:
https://www.youtube.com/user/RedGreenTV

If your wondering why I'm linking these...well I'm just showing you how I wanna- at least partially- play my character. So expect quite a bit of duct tape.

If I have to be captain than I want us to be private investigators.

Name: Vespa
Gender: N/A
Species: Machimachi
Age: 83
Basic Personality: Tend to get a bit hyper and focused when there is something to do, as though even the smallest task is urgent if I deem it my business. Otherwise just fade into the background, preferably in the generator room. There is just something about a massive thrumming vortex of energy...
Job on Ship: Engines, sometimes communication, with great reluctance, but you gotta do what you gotta do because everyone else is super specist...

*FULL CREW!*

Now that all of you are here, you all have to decide on what to do when you enter outer space with the ship.

There is 130 fuel points, enough to escape Benov's atmosphere and reach the closest inhabited planet, Golo, and back.

Professor Wibbles glances around the rather cramped cockpit at the rest of the crew aboard the very dear... "ship", and promptly sits down in the captain's chair.

"They didn't even bother to fill it up all the way, yes. let us take a test drive to Golo, and find fuel there for further explorative research, yes."

As Wibbles sits in the captain's chair, a database of planets and their inhabitants is activated.

A common feature of any Kinjo Corporation ship.

The ship also pulls up a small holo-web window showing the Kinjo Corporation website.

Kinjo Corporation details:

Grix taps on some instruments.

One of the screens lights up with a message.

HYPERSPACE MODULE ACTIVATED. WOULD YOU LIKE TO ACCELERATE?

YES/NO

Looking frankly surprised at the fact that something new happened Wibbles overreacted and promptly pushed the "yet" button without actually reading.

The ship goes into hyperspeed!

It goes for about a minute, then it stops. It stops just barely short of Golo. Damn machine needs fixing.

*Hyperspace travel takes about 10 fuel points per minute, but the one on your ship is faulty. It took 9 as it sputtered out before fully reaching Golo.*

*You have 121 fuel points.
