(Note: like all my RtD's, may die off after a month or two: like always, have fun while it lasts! I'm going to go a bit light-weight on this one to see if I can keep it up longer, though)

They have taken you from the Imperial City's prison, first by carriage and now by boat, to the east to Morrowind. After the brief and turbulent voyage across the Inner Sea, you waited in line with several other prisoners to sign your release papers at the Census and Excise office in the tiny port of Seyda Neen. You were given a package and instructions to bring it to a man named Caius in a town called Balmora. Little did you know, some of your fellow deportees were given the same package...

Spoiler: Character Sheet (click to show/hide)

Use this as reference for^

I'll pick which characters will play, don't worry about what order you posted yours in. Hopefully we can start this by tomorrow, or Monday.

Mechanics and Rules

Like many of my games, I'll be using hidden stats and the elements of your characters to determine the described results of your rolls, so as to not have the game focus on number-crushing. However, I think there's one that you'll need to see:

Level: A guideline for how powerful/competent your character is. Starts at 1 and increases with your accomplishments. Attempting things over your level (like looting Dagoth Ur's house at level 1, for instance) will require more good rolls for success. Conversely, if you go clear a smuggler cave at level 20 I'd probably say you passed even if you rolled just once and it was a 3. As a rule of thumb, I'd look at the "recommended level" for things on the UESP wiki. But keep in mind that other factors determine your results, such as how well your endeavor fits with your character's strengths/weaknesses. Remember: this is meant to be used more as an intuitive guideline than a hard number.

RP is encouraged and may be rewarded. Don't stress about it though.

The rules may be updated/changed as needed

Name: Aulus Marcius

Race: Imperial

Birthsign: The Lady

Description: He's got the shit-eating grin of a natural salesman plastered on his face as he steps off the ship. Vvardenfell! Smell the ash on the air! That's the smell of opportunity and second chances for a man who for a good bit thought that he'd get his hands chopped off or get pulled in half by horses or whatever they do to people like him over in Lilmoth. All for some misunderstandings involving a bit of shipping. The ship might not have been real and the contracts might have been a bit dodgy, he'll be the first to admit, but surely there was no need to put him in jail over what was clearly just his sheer business acumen getting ahead of things like facts or the criminal code. No such problems should arise in Vvardenfell, he fully expects. You can get away with anything here, you just have to know the right people. And as he steps into the office, teeth still shining white and a little gold through the filth of the rest of him, one thing he is definitely ready to do is make some friends.

Class: Why, he's a fully educated specialist of imports, exports and all things that lead to them, including mergers, acquisitions, mercantile law, procurements, logistics and virtually anything else that lets him put quill to paper and let his imagination run wild. In fact, Marcius' proficiency in these things is second only to his sheer ability to pitch all manner of unusual proposals to all manner of people. He's also no slouch when it comes to dodging both death and taxes, often in rapid succession.

Name: Eats-The-Bugs

Race: Argonian

Birthsign: The Tower

Description: On the Census forms, the information Eats-The-Bugs filled out was as as follows,

Race: Kamal
Weight: Three Ounces
Heigher: 2,831'4''
Gender: **In lieu of a text entry, there's a drawing of a tree on this line**
Birthsign: The Fornicating Sload
Province of Origin: Tomorrow

When asked what he'd do if a stove pipe slipped towards his mother, he replied the question was irrelevant because his mother was a stove pipe. He also criticized the census officer for being poorly dressed and obnoxious. He was not so much released from the census office as he was thrown out on his ear, which is a fairly typical turn of events for him.

Eats-The-Bugs, more typically just called 'Eetz', is a Argonian of slightly less than average height, exceptionally lean build, quick fingers, and a ready laugh. A scout by training, Eetz' employment outside of the Black Marsh has been somewhat limited by the complete inability of most of the civilized races to take a joke, or even realize that a joke has been made. When asked for a serious answer, Eetz will respond seriously, but so very few people actually ask for serious answers when they need them- which is rather confusing. Still, Eetz makes do the best he can- exploring for people too poor to afford anyone better and selling the smut fiction he writes while on expedition.

Class: Scout primarily, smutty fiction writer secondarily. He uses the Pseudonym 'Erects-His-Tail'  when writing.

I see we're going "PC eccentric" so far. I have no intention of changing that.

Name: Bobs-In-Well

Race: Argonian

Birthsign: The Apprentice

Description: Short and fairly tubby by Argonian standards, with a mottled deep red hide highlighted by wisps of black. A mane of darker spines erupts from the back of his scalp, and his slitted eyes are a brilliant, glittering gold. He often sticks his tongue out and goes a little walleyed when thinking, which is often, adding greatly to his derpy appearance.

Bobs-In-Well is generally friendly and cheerful, even- nay, especially when everyone is about to die. He considers deranged cults, mechanical deathtraps, and supernatural horrors to all be just fascinating, so it's rather hard to find a type of danger that doesn't interest him and warrant further investigation. This boundless curiosity also applies to a great deal of things that don't want to murder him and wear his face as a hat, often resulting in weeks spent perfecting a mushroom casserole or figuring out the precise requirements to have a pig declared a full constable of the law.

Class: Bobs-In-Well refers to himself as a Scholar, which like much of what he says starts out great and then takes a turn someplace strange.

Practically speaking, Bobs-In-Well is a heavily armored mage with great constitution and phenomenal talent in Restoration magic; as might be expected, this is because he has very little common sense and so is very frequently savaged by the horrible things he's attempting to study. He's well versed in other forms of magic as well, but his real obsession is with experimentation and creation: Enchantments, spells, potions, equipment, machines, creatures, anything. If it exists, he'd like to figure out how to make it. If it doesn't exist, there's a good chance he'd like to correct that issue. Needless to say, this makes him a rather shameless packrat, with the associated issue of seldom being able to carry everything he'd like to keep.

(I'll play straight man then.)

Name:Constantine Mentorus

Race:Imperial

Birthsign:The Warrior

Description:Constantine was once a member of the Imperial Watch in Cyrodill, before his imprisonment for refusing to follow orders he found dishonorable. The Legion has left its marks deeply in him. He is average in appearance and serious in temperament. He is deeply grateful to the Emperor for giving him a second chance.

Class:(Knight) In battle, Constantine fought with a sword and shield. He also knows some tricks of Restoration, to save the wounded and show mercy to the vanquished.

Still need to work on the description, but I'm quite interested in this game.

Name: Taahni

Race: Khajiit

Birthsign: The Shadow

Description: Taller than most females of her kind, her ebony fur has faint traces of bronze throughout. Born under the Shadow, Taahni had skill in both stealth and illusion magic. However, despite the assumptions other races had that any gifted this way would use these skills for thievery or assassination, Taahni used her skills to aid her home city of Leyawiin. Skilled in speechcraft, she does not always speak in the signature way of the Khajiit. Those who accompany her might notice her tendency to stay quiet and gather information before taking control of a situation. In a fight she tends to use Illusion magic and potions to disappear and cause confusion, striking her enemies with her claws or piercing them from a distance with poisoned arrows. If the fight turns against her she has no qualms using Mysticism and Acrobatics to get away quickly. She gained some recognition as an enchanter and alchemist, and prone to wander the Trans-Niben area protecting travellers from trolls and wolves. However, Taahni was captured by an Imperial Agent giving aid to the Renrijra Krin, and was shipped to Morrowind along with a few others...

Specialization: Stealth
Favored Attributes: Agility, Personality
Major Skills: Illusion, Hand-to-Hand, Sneak, Speechcraft, Mysticism
Minor Skills: Alchemy, Enchant, Acrobatics, Light Armor, Marksman

Edit: Stupid Archive Binge...

            Attributes: Strength, Endurance
Main skills: Heavy armor, Armorer, Blunt weapons, block, destruction
Minor skills: Alteration, Restoration, Security, Mercantile, Athletics

Description: Mercenary when lucky, bandit when not, Mathel is a redguard, who thinks that mages should wear armor. This, in fact is what got him in the prison in the first place. While in an inn in Cyrodiil, he started a brawl with a mage  and knocked him unconscious. He likes to battle and roast rats with Sparks.

(Oh my, there are some rather excellent choices here already! If there are more of such quality by tomorrow, I may just expand the roster to 5, though perhaps against my better judgement as an experimentation in ideal player load.)

Name: Tyrian Estel
Weight: 54kgs
Heigher: 5'4"
Gender: Female

Race: Bosmer

Birthsign: The Ritual

Description: Tyrian is an Elf of common stature: about five feet in height and generally lithe and flexible in build. She has a light brown complexion, with an angled face and deep hued irises in matching color. She has dark hair, swept naturally to the sides.

Sired a hunter and educated with what little could be afforded, Tyrian is remarkably unaggressive, compassionate, and trusting to a fault as described by her 'father', a human who took her in and never told her anything more about her past. Her early life was spent in his interests: identifying various fauna and flora in the forests, and trying to make ends meet with alchemy and other trade skills--the latter of which provided a good example for her in the future...as a point of utter failure as she couldn't find herself (despite loving encouragement) able to create a poultice, or combine things for potionmaking like a cheese and cheese wheel. In contrast, as her father tested her skills by application, she was found to be a rather excellent hunter in form, reluctant to prolong pain or killing--her compassionate streak also jived with his observations of a relative ease with animals, either in caring or in their behavior around her. She was a studious and passionate individual who held principles (and people) highly; this continued after her father's passing in her trade as a traveling scholar.

To be imprisoned usually brings a bad reputation regardless of one's intent and personality--Tyri was jailed however due to a complex situation with a Khajiit that included a mismanagement of words, and a coincidental bandit attack during her time as a buyer. Problematically, she lacked a weapons (rather, she had a bow, but lacked arrows which were just to be bought), and before being able to finish a deal that consisted of the usual medicinal accoutrements and supplies for her goals as a healer and scholar, she found herself shooting bandits in the legs to stop them from coming any closer to the nice stash of coins and goods. While particularly eventful in the end, she was charged heavily for stealing in front of a merchant (the arrows), alongside multiple other petty crimes she was confused in trying to understand [which would've only made sense if there was a connection with the bandits and the merchants]. In short, her past as a free hunter and trader/traveler hit a hole in the road: she had loved books and learning, being a very perceptive sort and given to thinking rather than abrupt acting, seeking and aiming to understand all that goes around her. The complexity of what had gotten her into prison nudged her potentials, and she found herself being a more practical person--somewhat in conflict with her principles, although in the end always finding ways to make ends meet. "Stealing" and then returning goods in times of need, finding ways to communicate with people, and overall trying to still earn enough for books and a formal education; she has a vested interest in the world and its peoples.

Class: Spy [Assassin/Agent theme]
        Specialisation: Stealth
        Attributes: Luck, Agility
Main skills [6]: Acrobatics, Sneak, Marksman, Security, Speechcraft, Hand-to-Hand
Minor skills [4]: Illusion, Athletics, Armorer, Light Armor

10 skills and stuff noted!

Horrible grammar aside, will try to edit later when in a better state of mind.

I'll be making my selection shortly. Because of the quality of these, I think I shall expand to 5 or even 6, though somewhat defeating the purpose of my experiment.

What about...making this a game to the finish :3

Keep experimenting at it--I'm okay with a 4 person place (regardless of being selected or not) as it helps you the most.
So you can run more games in the future with the data gathered and thus more quality over time and more consistency.
