I once played a game called Clank something (I think). Kinda like DF with a worms-like view, a bucketload more micro and less detail. I never got the hang of it but I loved the fact we could build elevators, power them, control our guys and trow stones into a wagon, shove the wagon into the elevator, take it somewhere else  :)

hmm yes, mining carts and rail!

carts drawn by mountaingoats to cart more stuff at once to buildingsites tradingposts or just mega-haulage from pile A to pile B would be sweet too.
(but maybe packmules are already in, I'm fairly new to this)

steam engines! would cost lots of coal to run though. :'(

I'd like to see wheelbarrows or something so when they're picking dead things off the battlefield they can just chuck everything in the cart rather than carrying stuff away one article of clothing at a time.
The problem I see with carts on rails is that I'm going to have lots and lots of useless rails leading to depleted veins.

maybe this can come with the naval arc.

If we can have little rafts with which to go out onto the sea/river to fish from, why not have wheelbarrows, ie bins-on-wheels?

Should be ea-say  :p

it is pierced through entirely!
his right kidney has been poked out!
his liver has been mangled!

jack johnson, raider has been shot and killed.

The above (including bbcode) neatly weighs in at 255 characters. Fallout meets DF

Well, somebody came up this this 'chutes' concept that I really think is spectacular. Here's the thread: Chutes
