Knives exits the kitchen, and sneaks through the alleyways between the buildings in the courtyard. As he sneaks around, he notices that the road through the pass runs through a tunnel under a brick wall that divides the two towers. Looking left and right, Knives decides to start from the middle, climbs the brick wall over the cart road, and ducks down a trapdoor into the small passageway above the tunnel. Doing so, he begins to make his way down the narrow passage, killing as he goes, and leaves more than a dozen dead as he walks his way through the passage east towards the two towers.
The end of the passageway has another hatch leading upwards, as well as doors leading towards each of the two towers.
Barbarisan blocks a staircase, and proceeds out the other door. This door opens onto the front wall of the fort, above the main eastern gate facing the desert sands. There is a squad of soldiers here, eyes gazing upon the empty sands, looking somewhat confused at the alarm and frightened.
They would have not much time to be frightened, as Barbarisan expertly clears this wall, from south to north, stabbing and slashign like an avatar of destruction. At the end of her spree, she stands before an identical door on the north side. There was also a third door that must lead down to the gatehouse, but Barbarisan was otherwise distracted. Or, she could jump down onto the lower wall section that runs the length of the fort, roofing the tunnel for the gate.
BARBARBARBAR climbs into the fort, and heads east. As he passes the curve of the wall, he can see Barbarisan ahead, slicing through guards like the expert she is. The huge man is no slouch, and covers her back by taking the guards on this wall, several of whom have bows, and works his way towards the door leading into the southern tower. With great poise, he leans on the tower wall beside the door, and waits for reinforcements. A group bursts out of the door, heading towards the front wall to surround barbarisan, but are interrupted by the very large barbarian and his very large sword, who takes them from ambush.
