D There might not be any people to conquer but we can still enslave the beasts of the wasteland if nothing else! Capture and tame the beasts!

Congratulations! Queen Erin has started a... military? campaign! Your 1.9 year old son Advisor will rule the city whilst you are gone.


You cross the river into the wasteland without incident. As you travel amongst the dusty farmland, you note that a few sickly plants have started to grow in the formerly barren fields again. Perhaps in a few years this place will be liveable?

You encounter no resistance. Eventually you set up camp by a stream, where a small patch of grass provides the bare minimum of grazing for your horses. Now what?

A-Nothing! We head further south once we have rested.
B-Loot the area! Who knows what treasures lie hidden beneath the dust?
C-Claim these lands in your name.

Once more into the wastes!

You head south, deeper into the wasteland.

Mirages cloud your vision as you ride. An incessant chittering can be heard, so quiet you are not sure it is even there... but loud enough to make you nervous. The weather changes without warning, storms appearing almost out of nowhere, raining down lightning all around, then disappearing as quickly as they came.

You do not encounter anything... alive. You do come across the half-eaten corpse of some giant furry creature, with massive tusks the length of a man, and huge ears. Well, waste not, want not. You cut off the tusks and take everything else of value from the body.
Some of the men are slightly unsettled by this. What would they have done if they had come across this thing whilst it was still alive? Worse, what will they do if they come across whatever killed it?

From the top of a hill, you can see the sea in the distance, glittering blue. You can also see ominous storm clouds to the south-west. Now what?

A-Further south. Don't stop till we reach the sea!
B-Let's turn east.
C-Let's turn west
D-Let's search this area for more loot.
